Open Question: Are my groomsmen gifts ok?
We purchased groomsmen gifts the other day. The best man we bought a flask to have personalized and will give a bottle of liquor with it. For the other two groomsmen we purchased four glasses from things remembered, they will get two each, and I would like to have them engraved. Should each glass have the same thing engraved on them. I was also going to purchase a bottle of liquor for each of them. There is a junior groomsmen and we were thinking of getting him a money clip engraved and then like a $20 gift card. What do you think? The middle two with the glasses is what I am most worried about. They are each getting two so just not really sure what to have engraved on them. moreResolved Question: Can anyone recommend me 2nd Anniversary gifts?

So I want a guy's point of view. I'm doing Valentine's day for my husband this year and I have the whole night planned. My only thing I got stumped on was the gift. I have 2 picked out and want to know what you men think? One is a personalized pocket knife and the other is a personalized beer mug. I can get both, one or the other. Just don't know what to do. He doesn't drink too often but when he does he usually drinks out of the can. And the handel to the pocket knife is silver so he might be afraid to carry it in his pocket. What to you all think. Any opinions will be helpful. THANKS!! moreResolved Question: Whats are some good christmas gifts for men (aged 45-50)?

Only want to spend about $50 max for each present. ANY ideas would be appreciated. thanks! moreVoting Question: Is he worth moving forward with, or will I be left heartbroken?
I met my bf in January 2009 and we started dating only each other in March 2009. He lives about an hour away and we see each other pretty much every weekend and about 1 night during the week. I am previously divorced (for about a year now) and my ex was very lazy and very immature and ended up cheating on me after being with him since I was 15. My bf is totally different. Every time we are together he is worried about what I want or what I need, which I am not used to. Even when we are intimate he is all about me, which I am also not used to. He has introduced me to his family and invited me on family trips and to holiday celebrations and various weddings of friends etc. For my birthday he got me tickets to a hockey game (he is from PA and loves hockey). He has been trying to teach me about the sport for a while now and it is something we enjoy doing together, so I thought the surprise was very thoughtful and I loved it. He also got me a few other small gifts that were so personalized it was amazing. Probably the best gifts I've ever been given. He is a very thoughtful person 99% of the time. My problem is...I am confused about his feelings/intentions. When we are together he is always so attentive and we are always touching in some way. However, when we do make plans I am nervous the whole time, waiting on him to cancel. Every now and again, he will call and say some friend called and invited him to some event with the guys and he wants to go. I dont usually cause a fuss, because I think personal time is super important. But, sometimes it really pisses me off because we had already made plans earlier in the week. Recently, I drove the hour to his place and got there before he got off of work, which I knew would happen. He called earlier and told me that a sales rep. was in and that he needed to stay about an hour late and "kiss some ass". Totally cool with me. But, an hour after he said he was gonna leave he texted me and said he was out with the guys from work and the sales man and that he didnt drive, but that he would be home ASAP and he was sorry. About 2 hours later he actually came home. He was very loving and apologetic and said he kept trying to get them to leave, etc. I tried to be understanding and let it go. I was a little angry though that he didnt think to call me and say, hey I'm going out with these people, I will try to be back as soon as I can. He had already been out for an hour before he decided to tell me he had even gone. And, whats wrong with saying, hey guys I can't go I have company in town, or just call me and tell me whats up? Not everyone went that night, and he is in the process of getting a new job! Problem #2, when it comes to sex, he is very much all aobut me. However, his sex drive is less than mine and he has actually told me no! I got dressed up and looked good and came out and he looked like he had fallen asleep, but he still told me no! I was so embarrassed and felt so stupid. In one weekend we will have sex once! We are both 25! Sometimes, it doesnt work all that well either. It will for a while, but then he looses it. He can still get off, but it takes some work on my part, which I never mind! I dont know if he is worried about that and thats why he is hesitant sometimes, but it makes me feel unattractive and like I am doing something wrong. He said this has been a problem for him in the past, but who knows. Problem #3, I dont know if he loves me. I have told him I love him and said, after a few minutes, he loved me too, but then he never said it again. I talked to him about this and he said there isnt different love to him. Its what he will do for someone that determines how he feels. So, I said, I love you, I would do anything for you, I want to make you happy, you make me happy, and I trust you with my heart. Do you feel the same? He said yes, so I was ok with that. This weekend was a "guys weekend" out of town so I went to see him Thursday night. on Friday while he was at work, I stayed at his place and cleaned for him to surpise him. I was there a lil late and texted him and told him I was still there and that I wanted to see him before he left and give him a lil fun. He told me there was a lil pool tournament after work and that he was sorry! Seriously? So, later that night before he left for his weekend out, I called and talked to him about this. I told him that sometimes he makes me feel like I am not #1 to him. I told him that I feel likes his order of priorities are his dog, himself, what he wants to do, and me. He said he doesnt think of it that way and that he isnt intentionally doing this. He said that he loves being with me, but he enjoys being with his friends too. He said that maybe he just isnt used to having to worry about anything but what he wants. We have been together for almost a year! He said that we hadn't been dating all that long and that he was just slipping back into his old ways and that he would try and work on that and work on telling me moreResolved Question: Help with DIY glass etching for Christmas gift - etching glass jewelry box?
I am buying a men's jewelry box as a gift, and I would really like to personalize the glass top. I know that etching paints exist, but I am wondering if it will be possible for me to use them, as I don't know if I will be able to remove the glass from the box (and therefore won't be able to use running water to clean the paint off). I don't imagine wiping would be a good idea. Is this something I can do on my own? Should I just take it to professionals somewhere? moreResolved Question: Would this be a cute Christmas gift for my friends?

And then sticking the cookie in a chinese take out box(decorated w/ patterns) and filling the box with candy and tissue paper. Finally,to top it off, a personalized name tag on the box wishing them a merry christmas. How does that sound? Tell me anything that would contribute to it. I have 3 step-brothers and 2 brothers-in-law that I'm not real close to but do exchange gifts with at Christmas. I'm running out of ideas for gifts - Wal-Mart gift cards get old & boring after awhile. Last year, I did gift baskets w/beer & peanuts & personalized beer mugs - they were really cool but now I'm feeling the need to out-do last year! :) The guys are all in their early to late 20's - 3 are single & 2 are married....Thanks in advance! moreResolved Question: Spider-Man costume Onesie, can anyone find it?
My sister is having a little boy next month and I am looking forward to being the "fun uncle". I want to find a onesie that looks like the spider-man costume. Not just one with a picture of spider-man...but the actual costume. I have found a costume for 12-18 month (link Below)but nothing any younger. And I am afraid that the costume wouldn't be as comfortable as an actual outfit (seeing as that is the case with teen/adult costumes). But that might be a different sotry for baby costumes. Link to what I found: http://store.costumecity.com/babyspiderman.html So my questions: 1) Do you think the above costume (minue hat and mask) could double as an outfit or do you think the material would be poorer quality. 2) Do you know where I can find a onesie that is designed like the Spider-Man's costume? (Red and blue, web design, spider logo) 3 )I am looking for other comic book characters too. I would like to find one of those hooded onesies/pajamas/whatever they are but of Batman. Alright so... I'm considering for my fiance's wedding gift that I'd get him a really really nice electric razor. He seriously goes through them every 3 months. I know, a razor isn't exactly a precious little keepsake, BUT, he's just not the type of guy who wants personalized cuff links or something. haha! Anyway, I want to get the best razor there is. Don't worry about cost. I just don't want to spend hundreds on any ol razor and have it turn out to be just as crappy as the $50 ones! Thanks! moreResolved Question: What is a good gift for my best man at my wedding?
I have already purchased great gifts for my groomsman, but am stumped for my best man (also my brother). He doesn't drink or smoke, so personalized flask/cigars are out of the question. He rides motorcycles, so something there could be an option? I would LOVE any suggestions!! moreVoting Question: How can I get my Ex back?
My boyfriend and I were together for about 8 months, 250ish days, the relationship was seemingly long-distance since we lived about 20 mins away from each other in different cities. I had some of the greatest and best times of my life being with him, it wa simply an amazing time. Nonetheless, we did fight and argue, and did so quite often, to my own dismay.. Over time, we became closer to each other and it all seemed to be going very well. There were however, many flaws: I had a major lying problem and well he had more of a hiding-things problem... That would spark so many fights between us, but in the end, he would always forgive me. I truly was lucky to be forgiven by him at least 18 times, which in essence came out to be like 18 break-ups. Now summer came in and things got very lazy. We didn't see each other as much we're both just 18 yrs old, and whenever we did see each other it just wasn't as amazing as it used to be. Its not that I was losing interest in the relationship, NOT AT ALL! On the contrary, I was always looking for every way to salvage it and truly make it work for both of us. This summer was rather bleak and I say that because my boyfriend uncovered some infidelity onmy behalf (and it wasn't me going out with someone else, simply talking to other people on Myspace, Facebook...) After a while, I manned-up and accepetd it and there. The trust however was pretty much gone. Similarly however, I had uncovered my boyfriend doing the exact same things a few weeks back, so I guess it really just put us at an equal place? Anyway. This past week was miserable. His birthday came up, we were suposed to hangout but as usual, he had family over... I however drove to his city and for five minutes gave him a happi birthday hug, personalized balloons, a pricey ring, and a gift bag with a 6-page letter I wrote, and other special things that I put so much time and dedication into. My crazy doubt grabbed me and that same night we had a long talk and basically he told me that things weren't going to work out at the time. That he loves me so much and that he doesn't want to hurt me anymore (for the past month and a half he has been a real jerk, very blunt, ignoring me, talking to others, and just being mean to me). He told me that he could see me in pain hurting from all that and well he wanted to stop that. I strongly opposed to taking a "break" but he said it wasn't a proposal, it was what would happen. I cried and cried... 2 days later things f*ck up as I break the "break" by getting into a confrontational argument with him and things just completely mess up right there. I humiliated him and made him feel really low and I regret it so much now. 2 nights ago I called and aske him to see if he was ready to talk to me, about whatever he wanted, and he told me in this voice, that I should know "what's going to eventually happen" and well we got into a really long talk about how the relationship is done and won't continue, well at least thats what he said and wanted, I still wnat the relationship. He told me that I f*cked up too much and that he always forgived me.. and that we're better being off as best friends. After that we just started talking about college; we're both going to college as freshman and our colleges are just 30 minutes from each others. He told me that we might hangout sometime soon but if we do it will only be as "friends"... :( I want him back and I'm truly in love with him. These past days have been so depressing for me and I really want him back. What do I do to spark that interest in me, better yet want to be with me again. I know we're going to seperate colleges but I won't be asking for a relationship, simply the possibility of us two hanging out whenever possible and being able to cuddle and be close to each other. I miss him so much and I can't afford to lose him in my life. I've already lost enough. PLEASE HELP ME!!!I also forgot to mention that teh intial reason for the "break" was for him to settle many problems he had going on in his life. Problems with family, money, and other things. He wasn't taking a "break" from me to see other people or because he was tired of the relationship or anything. Simply it was so he could have some time and space and he could try to accept and fix his problems and alos go up to par back in our relationship. I totally forgot to mention that, otherwise this looks like the obvious stereotyped break and break-up where someone just wants somebody new...and i know thats not tehcase, well i hope not. moreResolved Question: Bridal Party Gifts ... whose name(s)?
My fiance and I are thinking about getting our bridal party one "smaller" but personal gift, and then a larger gift card type gift that they can use and enjoy and isn't really "Weddingish" We are having a Christmas Wedding at the end of November, so I found these really affordable personalized ornaments: http://www.santasornamentshop.com/shopexd.asp?prod=2958 The personalization option has room for a name and a date. We have been dating 1 yr soon. I need a romantic or personalized gift as I know this is what he will want. Okay just need a little help with groomsmen gift. Well, technically, best men's gifts, as my fiance has two. For my MOH's (I have 2 also) I bought a personalized tote for each of them and got all kinds of neat, yet very inexpensive, things to put in them. (Actually, I got that idea here from Y!A...lol). I've been trying so hard to get my fiance to figure out what he wants to get for his guys...but everytime we start to talk about it, it's always "theres plenty of time left....i have no idea...." stuff like that and I highly doubt he'll ever figure it out lol. So, I asked him what he thought about doing something similar to what I am for my girls (so-to-say)....he liked it. Problem is, I have no clue what would be a good "manly" thing to put the stuff in for one, and for two what stuff to put in it. As I said, my MOH's stuff was very inexspensive, but still a lot of stuff. I want to do the same for the guys but have no inexpensive ideas! lol. The only idea I have is cigars and a nice lighter (as both the guys smoke cigars...). Any help would be greatly appreciated!! moreResolved Question: question for men... 10 points best answer :)?

He said he would love to start something in the few weeks we have left before he leaves and pick it back up in 4mos when he gets out of school. I have been wanting to breakup with my boyfriend for awhile, just waiting till after the holidays are over. Anyways, my question is, I'm getting confused about things between me and the co-worker because he never iniates a conversation first, unless it's work related. He has my phone number and email and I told him to text, email, or call me anytime. I even offered to drive him to the airport for when he goes home for Christmas and he said he'll let me know. Should I not try to communicate him while he's home and see if he iniates a conversation first? He's also 5yrs older than me (he's 26, I'm 21). Guys, what do you think? Also, would it be too much to get him a going away gift like a personalized pen from Things Remembered saying good luck on it with his name? Would it weird him out? I haven't dated in over a year and a half so I'm a bit rusty and he's older than I am so Idk if older men work differently than guys my age. moreResolved Question: Are these appropriate gifts for my wedding party?
Here is what we have so far: i'm having my maids jewelry made by a friend who does this for a living. she is also making my bridal jewelery. i plan on helping her and making each piece unique. we're talking a set of earrings and a bracelet for each girl. for the flower girls, i have two (sisters) i bought them each a simple silver necklace with a heart on it with their first initial. for the groomsmen i'm going to buy a nice ink and journal set for our writer best man and co-best friend. we plan on wiritng a note inside the journal telling him how much we appreciate him, etc. the other two guys are another good friend, who we plan on getting a personalized flask. the other groomsman is my dorky 15 year old brother ( i love him!) who loves computers, so i'm thinking a gift card to a gaming store. do all these ideas sound ok?i realize this is a little garbled..cold medicine. sorry!Ritz: our best man doesn't drink, but he is a writer. and why should i get them all money clips? that just smacks of "i have no imagination". and my little brother would lose a keepsake, trust me. moreResolved Question: Hi!! one of my friends sent me this. I though it was funny, if you think its funny then star it. :) YOU KNOW YOU'RE A REDNECK IF.... Your richest relative buys a new house and you have to help take the wheels off. You've ever used lard in bed. You think potted meat on a saltine is a hors d'oeuvre. There is a stuffed possum mounted any where in your home. You consider a six pack of beer and a bug zapper quality entertainment. Your mother doesn't remove the Marlboro from her lips before telling the State trooper to "kiss my Ass". The primary color of your car is "Bondo". Directions to your house include: "turn off the paved road". You honestly believe women are turned on by animal noises and seductive tongue gestures. Your family tree does not fork. Your wifes hairdo has ever been ruined by a ceiling fan. You've ever hollered "Rock the house, Bubba!" during a piano recital. Your mother has ever been involved in a fistfight at a high school sports event. You've ever barbecued SPAM on the grill. The neighbors started a petition over your Christmas lights. You have ever driven down the road with your seat belt hanging out of the door making sparks. You have ever spray-painted your girlfriend's name on an overpass. Someone asks to see your ID, and you show them your belt buckle. Your dog and your wallet are both on a chain. You owe the taxidermist more than your annual income. Don't really care, it seems like a good hobby to kill time with tangible results and will make good personalized gifts for others, but I do like hearing people discuss such things. I live in Bangkok and would like to buy a personalised beer mug etc. Any idea and also nice gifts for bridesmaids. moreResolved Question: guys./men please please help me, i am so nervous about this gift, would YOU like it if your girl gave this to u
i am nervous about the gift that i got for my bf for valentines day I ordered 5 personalized red heart shaped soaps, inside of each of them a message (one says "mike you are the best i love you :) ", another one says "think of me when you get dirty" the third one says "you make me wet" 4th "dirty soap boy" I forgot what the fifth one says.. anyway they smell like polo for men perfume I am going to put them in a small bag ( I will make sure it's not pink or girly" or maybe a basket ( too feminine don't you think so) I don't know I am very nervous, and I also got him a sweet card, nothing cheesy, just a funny card that says he's the best and that I am happy to have him. Still I feel something is wrong, I don't like to show too mush emotions. I am afraid he'll think it's a stupid or too emotional gift. being a girl I would like that kind of gift but what about guys? He's in his mid 20's, we've been together for a few months moreResolved Question: What should I get my husband for our 1st anniversary?
I am trying to come up with the greatest anniversary gift to get my husband (because he deserves it so much!!) but I'm really bad at giving gifts. He's an IT guy, likes video games and PC games. He isn't into sports so that's ruled out. I've tried searching for anniversary gifts for men online but everything is sooo cheesy like "Personalized Poems" or "When We First Met Book"... but WTF, what guy would actually want that??? We've got a 7-day Mexican Riviera cruise planned to celebrate our first year together but I want to come up with a gift that will really make him happy. I'd really appreciate your help! I'd like a few guys to answer this, but please be serious when answering. Thanks! moreResolved Question: What is a "nice" gift for a new "love-interest"?
I just recently starting seeing this man (about a month). What is an appropriate x-mas gift? I was thinking a beer mug with a personalized message on it (his name & the saying he always says). moreResolved Question: guys/men need your opinions : do guys like this as a christmas idea? or do they think it's stupid ???
I was thinking of orering these personalized soaps, they come in different shapes and smells and they put your personal message inside of them: "think of me when you feel dirty", "damn, I wish I was this soap" etc... or even your pictures inside.. i think it's funny and cute... do you think that some soaps with cute and funny messages like these or pictures make a good christmas gift for a guy I have been with for a couple of months ? Do guys think that this is not useful/weird/stupid? I really like the idea but want guys input .. by the way he's 26 moreResolved Question: Is a personalized teddy bear a stupid Christmas gift for a man in his 30s?
I'm 25 and I've been dating this guy who's in his 30s for about 3-4 months now. It's Christmastime and I'm at a lose as to what to get him. I thought of cologne, but he'd only wear it w/ me since he doesn't wear it often. He has enough watches, he's not too tech-savvy, and I wanted to do something different than DVDs or a sweater. He's a big guy and I'm kinda short and I affectionately call him my "teddy bear". So I'm flirting with the idea of getting him a personalized teddy bear from Build-a-Bear and since he's a Chicago sports fan, have the bear dressed in either White Sox or Chicago Bears garb. I mean, it has sentimental value and a bit of his own personality with the sports stuff. I'm just not sure if a grown-ass man would like something like that or if a teddy bear would be too juvenile a gift. Feedback or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. moreResolved Question: what you think on the top 10 gift ideas?
