Open Question: What should i get/make my boyfriend for our one year anniversary?

I'm 15, hes 17. We don't do presents for our "monthaversaries". Sometimes the most he'll do is take me for pizza. He bought me a pandora one our 6th month/my birthday present. He's into music, like obsessed with it. He listens to the devil wears prada, august burns red, underoath. I don't have that much money and im already getting him an ipod touch for his birthday so i dont wanna over do it. Keep it PG please:) more

My husband and I have been married a little over a year (15 months). We currently live in the house that he and his ex wife lived in prior to their divorce (they lived there for 8 months before he left and they divorced.) The house was and still is in his name only, so he kept it (and the mortgage of course.) His ex didn’t work, lied and manipulated him through their sons for the entire length of their marriage, she drank heavily, took pain pills for recreation and smoked weed regularly, while he worked 60 hrs a week and footed the bill for her habits and all the household bills. His two grown sons also lived there and worked sporadically and didn’t contribute financially to the household (no rent, groceries etc). He supported 4 adults. Fast forward to now, we are married, I have a good job that I have been at for 14 years; he and I make a good living financially together. I pull my weight in this relationship in every way. Recently, we had a minor issue with the mortgage company and the house insurance and I found out that the closing for the house was on their anniversary….he bought the house in the same year that he bought her a car for her birthday (his father had died and left him some money and this was part of the way he spent it - by buying his ex a car (she kept telling him that she would get a job if she had her own car….she got the car…..she didn’t get a job, didn’t even look for one) and coming up with a sizable down payment to buy the house (a new construction by the way…..it is 3 years old this month). I did not want to live in the house, the only reason that we moved into it was because there was and is very little chance of him selling the house with the housing market in the toilet and unemployment rampant. He also would not be able to recover the $10,000 down payment he made towards getting the house with the economy so bad, but he was still responsible for the payment. It was purely a smart financial decision, but a hard emotional one. To me, it seems like I am living in (and paying half the payment for) HER anniversary present. He told me that it was not planned that way…that it just happened that the papers were signed on that day. I feel like he GAVE her the house for their anniversary the same way he GAVE her a car for her birthday. My logical part of the brain tells me that it won’t be like this forever. We knew that moving into the house would be temporary and that we wanted OUR own home……but it is like the house is toxic to me. I don’t think I realized how hard it would be. We have lived there 13 months. How do I deal with this? He is a good man and I don’t want to ruin this marriage over something that other’s see as trivial. I had a friend of mine tell me that it’s not like they raised their kids there and it’s full of those memories. That they only lived there a few months before he left and filed for divorce, they were probably not good months to him if he wanted to get out so badly. I understand that, but am I wrong for wanting something that I don’t feel like is a leftover or a crumb from his past??? HELP!!!!!!say it all..I do not compare myself to his ex or our relationship to their relationship..there is NO comparision. I am clearly the winner all the way around. Perhaps it is frustration more than anything at things I can't control (the economy) keeping us from be able to do the things we want to do (sell the house and buy or own.)...and buy OUR own. People that are saying “Grow up” need to realize that unless you find yourself in a situation YOU have no idea how things you make you feel. Logically, I am doing what I have to do to survive for now, but it is frustrating to work every day and still have to wait to have the things you want to have while others seem to have it handed to them and didn’t do a damn thing to deserve it. YOU grow up!Everything in it is new, as she took everything as part of the “payoff” for her to go. It was crappy anyway as he was the only income. I bought and paid for the new furniture, new rugs and everything. I have decorated it and it is beautiful. People that knew them before (like their sons) are amazed that it looks so different. I have my own IRA, 401K and insurance, my car is in my name …..I don’t rely on him to get me by. Logically I understand what the situation is and I accept that it is temporary…..I was just thrown a curve about the date. She is a parasitic personality that can’t survive unless she is attached to something stronger while I, on the other hand, lived alone while raising two kids, working full time and completing my degree. Ok, it could just be because i am a hopeless romantic, and i expect the same out of my husband. Anyway, we are both on our second marriage, and he is 15 years older than me, and ive NEVER loved anyone as much as i love him. Anyway, we had our 1st anniversary a couple of weeks ago and i spent weeks writing him "our love story", of how we met and so on. I had in bound at Kinko's, and so on. I know that if i had gotten a present like this, i would have been so surprised, and couldn't wait to read it. Resolved Question: Should I stay in a 20 year marriage which has no intimacy?

We haven't had any form of sex in 2 years because I have deliberately stopped asking. Prior to that we only had sex with the aid of Lesbian porn movies to make her aroused as she doesn't like men's bodies or sex itself. Im a guy btw, im on my sister's account. Okay so i dont really like being the center of attention and never had too many friends so i always hated having birthdays. I havent had a real birthday party since i was like 15 and on july 8(tomorrow) i turn 20. One of my best friend's birthdays was in early june and we planned a surprise for him and i even got him a $70 dollar nice present. Resolved Question: CR1 & IR2 IV question?

Here's the situation in summary... I'm married since june 2008 to a USC, who has been living outside the US for over 15 years now. We got our first baby six months back. We are now planning to live in the US, and since my husband haven't spent 2 years in the US after being 14, so he had to present for both me & the baby a petition. We got our IV few days back, my visa status is CR1 (due to the fact that the interview was made before i fulfill my 2 years marriage), and the baby got IR2 (they told me at the Embassy that the baby will be considered a US citizen as soon as she reaches USA) We should be going to the US sometime near July, therefore our second marriage anniversary will be fulfilled. I am fully aware that i should receive my IR1 status instead of CR1 status once i reach POE. But the question is should i take with me any proof/legal documents to show to the officer at the POE, in order to change my status & be granted the GC for 10 years validity, or will it be as simple as just informing the officer that my 2nd anniversary has passed, and he/she will fix the data??? My second question is regarding the baby visa. Does IR2 means that she will get the US citizenship as soon as she reaches the US soil, or she will follow the process of getting first a GC then we should petition for her to get the US citizenship & passport??? and is there any legal documents i should bring with me for her at the POE Thanks more

Okay so in a question I said that I'm turning 16 (tomorrow actually) but I don't want to I'm perfectly happy being 15. That's not the point though, well not technically. I also died literally from an epileptic seizure a 1 year old. They got me back but I've always thought of the anniversary of that day sometime in December as more of a birthday than yesterday. It's sort of like my life started (or rather started again) on that day. So that makes it more of a birthday than what tomorrow is even though that's the anniversary of my actual birth. I feel like I shouldn't even be receiving presents or doing that birthday stuff tomorrow because it doesn't feel as if it's my REAL birthday anymore. I feel that December 1995 is my real birth-date over April 1994. (I can't remember the exact date I had the seizure, the 20-something of December 1995). Hey, ok so my boyfriend is literally the hardest person to buy for xD He's 15 going on 16.. We've been together just over 2 years... and we're long distance right now =/ but here's about him.. He doesn't wear jewelery, he's vegan, he changes his mind on things alot (he had an xbox and was into that but just recently sold it because he got bored lol) He doesn't really have any outstanding hobbies.. and anything I can think of would be too expensive. Well, i'm 14 and he's 15 and we decided we weren't going to buy proper presents so I thought i'd just make him something sweet that he would remember. I was going to make a little scrapbook but I wont have time now, as our one year dating anniversary is on the 31st march. I was going to get a jar, and fill it with paper, with little memories, lyrics from our songs, poems, maybe a tiny photo or two, maybe some drawings for him on. I was then going to add some preserved petals or leaves or something. I don't know though, because it wont all fit in a jar :/ Especially not poems or photos so i'm not sure what to do. Me and my bf have been going out for 6 years. I really loved him and I wanted to get engaged for the last 2 years now but he always said he wasn't ready. okay so my bosses are the most amazing people in the world. a wonderful couple who would do (and do do) anything for me. (i'm 15). i have known them for many years, but started working for them 2 years ago, which is how i have come to know them SO well. they are better than my own parents...(i know, horrible, but if you knew these people you would understand). their 9 year anniversary is coming up and i haven't the slightest idea what to get them for a present. i know 9 isn't a big deal but, i really have no clue what to get for them...they love to travel, scuba dive and cook. i would like to keep it under $75...any ideas welcome! please help!! more

Hi. So i have been dating my boyfriend for about 7 and a half months. We are both 15 going on 16. We live in Kenya, but spend our summers where we were born, so i go to Canada and he goes to Holland. The thing is, i am using this time in Canada to buy him his presents. A present for his birthday, a present for our one year anniversary and a present for Christmas. The only problem is he tells me that he doesn't want anything. But then he said he wanted a shirt that says Property of (My name), Don't touch? Is he serious about that or just playing with me and if i do turn out to get him that what are other presents that i could buy?? Please give me ideas. Also, since i am in Canada and he is in Holland, i was thinking of ordering flowers through the internet and having them delivered do you think he would like that or what?
