Instead she could be taking me out. i think i feel as if she just using me. i confront her this and she would say i dont do it all the time. butshe does at college cause she has a 21 year old roommate now. i would ask her couldnt you not party 1 night just to chat, when she does she just hangs out. so what do i do? Resolved Question: What to do for our 10th anniversary?

My husband and I are approaching our 10th anniversary. Not of our wedding but of the day we met. It was love at first sight. I found out he's getting me a spa day and he got a free night's stay at a hotel (through work). I would really like to do something great for him. He's always been hard to buy for. He's the kind of guy you get a gift card or give money to. I did have an idea though and would like some input/ideas. I was thinking it would be nice to get a beautiful wooden box and fill it with the mementos of our relationship; a wedding invitation, little gifts from when we were dating, cards we've given each other, stuff like that. I was also thinking, since he wears a suit everyday for work, that I could get him a nice tie clip or bar. And I will probably be getting some special "sleepwear" for our night at the hotel together. I am just unsure. I sometimes feel weird about buying big things for him since he works and I am a SAHM. Of course I know it's our money but I still feel odd buying him extravagant things. So if anyone out there has ideas, comments, etc. I'd love to hear them.He can be VERY romantic. He saw something that I had been thinking of getting for him and told me he would rather have something meaningful and romantic rather than something he would get for himself. Hi there i've bought an 8 inch by 8 inch scrapbook with 30 pages in it which I want to make into a little kinda memories scrapbook for my boyfriend as an anniversary gift. hi im 26 my husband is 28. being married for one year. and we were dating for 1 year b4 getting married. from the beginning we decided to ask each other what gifts we want for special days he never asks what i want for my birthday/anniversary/valentines etc i remind him saying my birthday is coming. even then we does not ask what i want. i wait and wait and finally ask "what are you buying me for my birthday" (if not, i will not get a gift at all) then he asks "ok what do you want?" I bought 2 wine train certificates at discount price. It’s a wine testing train with 3 courses meal at Napa Valley. Even though we are not a wine drinker but I thought this will be fun and great surprise for our wedding anniversary. Oh, another thing, the wedding anniversary date and her birthday is on the same day. So, this is not a regular anniversary. It’s a combined gift, fun, surprise, combo thing. I’m a little on budget don’t have a lot to spend all out but want to make it special each year it comes around. We’ve going to Las Vegas for past 3 yrs … watch good show, eat good food, stay in a nice hotel (thanks to priceline, craigslist, and ebay) I’ve already booked and paid to priceline.com for flight, hotel, and car rental. That’s mean no refund back. The thing is I lost the Wine Train certificates. I could find them and I can’t change my plan. I don’t want to pay for another $200 for wine train but I don’t want to waste my trip going up there. Do you have any suggestion? I will fly over on Thursday night (Oct 29) and fly back on Sat night (Oct 31). It’s supposed to be a short surprise trip b/c I’m on budget. Now, I’m in a big black hole don’t know what to do. We’ve been driving up to San Francisco more than 10 times in the past 4 years. So, we don’t want to go to San Francisco again. We did camping trip from Big Sur all the way to Northern San Francisco area. We took relatives up there numerous times. So, no San Francis trip for us.No, I haven't look every else. I have to give it one more shot of looking everywhere. I tried to hide them from my wife but now I can't find it.Thanks guys, these are all good substitution. My sister, adult ( and I am an adult also) have never been close but I have always been the one to reach out or remember birthdays, anniversary's and such. Her, nothing. Well, a birthday card. I have become just fed up with her rudeness and think maybe I will treat her just as she treats me. She puts me on hold, not on the phone, but when I ask her if she would like to go out with DH and I for dinner, It's well , i am not sure that date will work, I 'll have to get back to you and never does, It's been going on a long time. Ok, so my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years (our anniversary is in about 2 weeks), and we've only been on 2 or 3 official dates, because we usually just hang at each others houses, and go on walks, got to church together, go to orchestra together, and he comes over nearly everyday after work (5 days a week), but only for a few hours, because he works until about 8-9pm.Anyway, we do alot of things together...but nothing really awesome (because we never have the time/chance/ability..and we both don't drive (you have to be over 18 to get your license where i live..and he's over 18, but hasn't had the time to do driving lessons), so we either have to get someone to drive us to our date and pick us up, walk, or something. So our anniversary's on the 10th, on the 13-14th we're going on an outing with our orchestra) and on the 25th the we're going on a holiday together (to see his rellies he hasn't heard from in the past 10 years, until a few months ago..we're going with his mum too) for about a week, and then we have two youth camps (one goes for a week, and the other for 3 days..that's from the middle of August, till the end), and then a week after the camps his moving away (which happens to be just a few days away from his birthday) I was wondering if I should get his anniversary/birthday/ and going away present together, to get his anniversary separate, and his going away with his birthday..or what to do. Gift suggestions, or ideas about how to celebrate each one will be an awesome help for each one..thanks, sorry for telling you my whole life story. =) more

Resolved Question: Good anniversary ideas for my wife on our 7th anniversary?

Here's the situation: I have a class to attend in Seattle during the days just prior to our anniversary. My wife is flying out with me so we can have our anniversary in Seattle, even though our anniversary doesn't actually fall during those days, but the next day after returning. The only night I will be free is the night we land, as the next two nights prior to us flying out I will be in the class until about 8 at night every night. Because of this, we have decided to have our anniversary dinner in the Space Needle restaurant the night we fly in. I am looking for some ideas of what I can do for my wife that night. There are a few things to note, however: My wife is 8 months pregnant with our third child (the other two are at Grandma's for the trip) and funds are tight because of recent moving and traveling expenses. She doesn't want an expensive bouquet of flowers (I've done that before anyway), and she said she doesn't necessarily want an actual gift. She's not into spas and that sort of thing. Dinner reservations are for 8:15, but should be over by 10:00. Also, because of how far along the pregnancy is, we can't stay out all hours of the night and early morning as she gets tired much more easily, especially when you throw in a day full of traveling. I am looking for ideas of other things I can do, but also not be centered around sex like so many suggestions seem to say (the baby belly is starting to get in the way now anyway :D ) Any suggestions? more

Okay, so i am going to make a long story short, kind of.... Today is my boyfriends 22nd birthday and i am about 20 days shy of 20 years old. We are staying in Ameristar Casino in their hotel and he can gamble because he is 21 or older but unfortunately, i cant. My mom got us the room and let us stay here for the night. We live together, we have for about eight months and like i said, today is his birthday and tomorrow is our one year anniversary, so we are kind of celebrating both. He is going to be going down to the casino for about an hour or two and i will stay in the room. I want to do something special for him when he gets back, but not quite sure what to do. I am limited with my options because we are in a hotel room and not at home and dont have many things. I brought some cute yellow lacy underwear that i have but thats about it. What can i do? Any suggestions? I plan to shower while he is gone and wait to get into my lacy underwear when i know he is coming back to the room (i will have him text me) I guess i am just at a loss what to do. I dont have a lot of money so i just bought him an ice cream cake from DQ for his birthday and made him a video slideshow DVD of us for our one year. I want to do more, i feel bad.... I dont care how graphic your ideas are or how sexual they are, and maybe the simplest things will be the best, but if they are complicated, i have the time do maybe do something.
