Resolved Question: Will Star Wars Galaxies: Starter Kit work with this?

I've been a die-hard SWG fan, and was very sad when I heard the game was being shut down. Found this site though (See above link), and I got curious.
I've heard rumors that the Starter Kit version of SWG won't work with this, others say this project has fixed it, etc. Plus, the website says you only need an original copy, and I happen to own a perfectly healthy, complete 6 disk retail copy of SWG: Starter Kit at home, and wanted to give it a try. But, does anyone know for sure if this type of copy will work for this?

Hello. I've recently downloaded the Star Wars Galaxies trial game, and I'm excited to play it. I've onced played it before, and loved it. I checked up everything on System Requirements on the SWG Forums, and I check out. I am, infact, using a Toshiba NB255, which is a Netbook. But it should still work from what I've been told. But I'm having an issue...
I open up the launcher, hit "Play", and it begins to flash back and forth between a black screen and my desktop for about 3 seconds. After that I get a Direct3D error message saying "Direct3D could not be correctly initialized". I'm kind of mad about this, as that's the ONLY thing stopping me from gameplay. Does anyone know how to fix the Direct3D error issue I'm having? Thanks!

Some websites won't load, they become timed out. Hotmail works, Yahoo, my banking site works, many do, but some don't. eBay, Sony's station.com, www.va.gov doesn't work either. I've looked on a number of forums that I can get to load and I've tried several suggestions they had, but the forums I could get to are all xp. I'm running vista 32-bit. I'm on Firefox right now, what I usually used, but I tried internet explorer and got the same problem. I've tried updating Java. I've tried running a spyware removal - but I couldn't download Spybot S&D (which most people said worked) but I can't connect to their site. A friend who knows more about computers than me tried something about "Open DNS" - I don't know what that means, but it didn't work anyway. I even tried restore points, but now they're coming up "unspecified error" - I've done an online virus scan too. I've tried connecting to the problem sites with my firewall turned off, but nothing. The problem seems to center around station.com, since my husband's Star Wars Galaxies game won't connect through the Station.com launcher, but that may just be becuase I can't connect to their site anyway. Anything else anyone can think of before I take it to get repaired?? Thank you!!

UFOs (unidentified flying objects) are seen in the skies all over the world and millions have witnessed this phenomenon. Lights that seem stationary in the sky, and then out of nowhere move with incredible speed or zipping lights that move to and fro and form formations. What could these objects be? Shooting stars? The usual response the government gives out is that these lights are satellites that orbit earth or just plain airplanes. Many people believe that these UFOs are flying saucers from another world and transport alien races to and from different worlds and galaxies. After all there are more planets in our galaxy then grains of sand on the beaches the world over. Even the pope acknowledged that there was a big possibility of other life in space. Supposedly since the Roswell crash of 1950, aliens have been visiting earth and are in constant communication with our governments. Offering new free energy technology to help clean up our planet. But the government wont share these wonders with the public because economies will crash if oil and gas stop being traded, and a lot of powerful people will lose a lot of cash. Just a theory?
Another theory to the Ufo phenomenon, which is a bit more down to earth, is the nazi theory. During World War 2 the nazi scientists were working on free energy flying ships/saucers. The US found out about this and when the war came to an end they brought the nazi scientists back home. In America they were given resources and funding to keep researching this free energy wonder. Those flying saucers and triangles that you might see flying about are the result of the scientist's years of research. The US refuses to share this technology with the public because they don't want it falling into enemy hands and also they don't want a hole in their pocket. The roswell crash was actually one of there test saucers in action, they thought the game was up when it got out that a ufo crashed in the desert, but the public but 2 and 2 together and got aliens form a different plant. Needless to say the US government was more then happy to fuel this lie and so they fanned the flames by giving dumb excuses and acting guilty as hell when it came to UFOs.
So we have reached the final theory. Humans coming back from the future in time machines. Sounds a bit far fetched but it is very possible that these little grey men are actually us in another thousand years or so. We learned to survive without the human wants like food and sex. That's right no sex because we are neither male nor female and we can't reproduce. The only reproduction we will be doing is in a test tube. We have prolonged our life span and death is curable. Since we have no human wants our body has withered to a frail shadow of what it once was, but our brains and intelligence have developed beyond belief. I guess you might be asking, why would we bother visiting different times in our past? Well I have two reasons for you, either we are collecting history on our selves or just experiencing history first hand OR we have come back looking for that important ingredient that makes us human. Every test tube baby that is born gains more intelligence but loses a percentage of what makes us human. Feelings, free thinking...

I have an obsessive compulsive personality, it's just natural for me to get hooked on one thing or another. I really want to get hooked on something good. Let me share my history with you.
When I was younger, I was addicted to video games, SNES, NES, Sega, N64, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox360, and then at about 16 and 17 got hooked on several different online MMO's, World of Warcraft and Star Wars Galaxies. I have been successful however, in getting addicted to weight lifting, and I have been now for 2 and a half years and have a body-builder's figure, but it's so hard for me to believe that I'm still struggling with this.
I gave up video games. COMPLETELY. I quit world of warcraft for good this last november. I've recently got addicted to guitar, which is fine, but I've also found myself addicted to this stupid online forum called 4chan. It's just a funny place with funny images and I find myself spending a lot of time there, hours a day. Someone please give me some ideas? Ty.I have a girlfriend, and I am not anti-social. It's just that I find I am spending my free time doing this. I tried quitting, and I ended up coming back. Perhaps I should stay out of my dorm room? It's just that my room is where everything is.

This is for a forum auction on the game star wars galaxies of 4 very rare and expensive items that are in high demand right now.
Ok. i have 4 lots, they are all the same thing. Person A bids a highest bid but not telling me which one it is, so I put it on lot 1. They are in the lead of all the others. Then, Person B makes their first bid for my auction out-bidding Person A, and specify lot 1. Person A's bid is still higher than the people who bid on lots 2 and 3, so would it be ok for me to arrange the winning (so far) bidders in lead in order of highest bidders to lowest bidders? Like, basically I would make Person A outbid lot 2, because lot 2 is less than what person A bid.
Is this bad or good?and its not real money
