Resolved Question: How can I play King's Quest VII KQ7 on Vista?

I know that this question has been asked numerous times on numerous websites, but since none of the answers I've found have answered this question I figured I'd ask here. I have tried the following, and none of these things have worked. I have: 1. Bought the newest version of the King's Quest Collection, which will not run KQ7 PERIOD. 2. Tried changing the "compatibility modes" 3. Tried changing the settings that allow you to run the game under a different color setting and different resolutions 4. Tried reinstalling the package 5. And last, but not least, Tried running the game using DOS Box KQ7 (along with KQ8) can't run under DOS Box due to the fact that they're Windows-based games, so they were not designed to run in DOS mode. I'd just run the game in a computer with XP, but unfortunately the only program I have like that now is Vista. I don't have disks for XP or anything. So if anyone can help me come up with any ideas of how I might be able to run King's Quest VII or VIII, I'd greatly appreciate it, so thank you! I've tried EVERYTHING I've been able to think of and research on my own. Thanks again!Also, when I attempt to open the .exe file (regardless of whether or not I open it using the King's Quest Collection button or if I open it manually,) Vista always gives me this message. Hi, I have an old computer game (King's Quest VII) that I want music from. It's impossible to find a complete collection anywhere, even from the guy who wrote it...believe me, I tried. But I figured that as long as I have the game installed and a folder containing files in it, one of them has to have the music stored in it in one shape or form, right? I obviously have a limited knowledge of computers, but is there any way to convert one of these files for music? (especially separate songs that could be converted to mp3's?)
