Open Question: Final Fantasy VII: Special Battle Preparation/Golden Choccobo Breeding?

1)First of all, I finally got to the special battle in the Golden Saucer Battle arena to get the final attack materia but I ran into some issues. A.)I have Cloud's Ultima Weapon, but it always gets broken, and I am useless when it gets broken. B.)By the time I get to the Proud Cloud, I can't heal myself because my Fullcure Materia is broken and I have no X-potions. C.)I don't have Mime, Knights of the Round or any other cave materia So here are my questions about this topic: What monster can I morph to get some X-Potions? Is there an easy way to beat the Proud Cloud? Is it possible to stop getting any handicaps that effect my HP, Item Command and Command Materia/Magic Materia If it helps: Materia Line up:(= means they are linked) Bahamut=MP absorb, FullCure=MagicPLUS, Enemy Skill=W-Summon, Deathblow=HPAbsorb The rest are 3xHPPLUS, 3xMPPLUS and 1 Luck PLus Equipment: Ultima Weapon, Mystile, Ribbon Cloud is Around Level 60. 2.)Second Problem, I am trying to breed a Golden Chocobo, but I can't do it. Greetings all video game and anime fans! Today, I would like to question the potential of Cloud Strifes Omnislash Limit Break technique from the FFVII series. Omnislash is an extremely powerful move that can easily overwhelm and kill the most life threatening life forms... or things (That means you WEAPON.) out there. Omnislash is depicted a insane sword slashing combanation that create small energy explosions after every slash. This is the first Omnislash presented in the series. Now, ever sense Advent Children came out, the Omnislash was presented in different manner. Instead of a huge combanation of swords slashes, the sword that Cloud uses (The First Tsurugi) splits into every blade that he had used and he slashes the shit out of his helpless opponent using those blades with supernatually based energy slashes. This is the Omnislash Ver 5. There are some questions that I would like to clarify for myself: - Is the Omnislash weaker than Omnislash ver 5? (Strangely enough, in the Dissendia game, Omnislash version 5 was just a REGULAR- ass move, while the Omnislash itself is Cloud's LIMIT BREAK/ SUPER MOVE. But, on Advent Children Complete, Cloud attempted to use the LIMIT BREAK Omnislash and Sephiroth blocked it EFFORTLESSLY. But, then Cloud used the REGULAR move Omnislash Ver. 5 on Sephiroth and he was DEVASTATED! Strange isn't it?) - What would it be like if the other "versions" of the Omnislash technique was used? - Does it ACTUALLY require Cloud to have the FIRST TSURUGI, instead of his former weapon the Buster Sword? (Once again, on Dissendia, Cloud was capable of using Omnislash ver. 5 with no problem, EVEN when using the Buster Sword.) - How strong is the Buster Sword really? ( Cloud's best friend, Zack mentioned that he would use the other side of the blade. The Buster Sword is clearly capable of slashing things wide open... But, its not quite as stronge as it looks and it was easily outclassed by blades like the Ultima Weapon. There was also some confusion when Zack fought Sephiroth with it... and Angeal using it to slash a Wutai monster... and Cloud slashing Sephiroth through the chest... hmmmm...) Although, Square gave a few clarifications on the Omnislash, as well as the Buster Sword, I want to see what others have to say about it. more

It's actually the Ultima Edition(hey, it's hard to find FFVII these days!) .When I open the game, I was asked if I were to 'continue' or start a 'new game'. Ok so you upgrade a weapon to level star then you use a catalyst to transform it. BUT why do different weapons upgrade to different levels when they change their name, eg Lionheart upgrades to Ultima weapon and starts at level 15 whereas axis blade upgrades to enkilder and goes to level 13. Is there any link in what level you need to get the weapon to before it becomes a star and then what level it goes to when it changes..? Thanks for you time more

i've read a guide online for bosses and i have none of the abilities they say work on him (ultima,osmose, holy, double cast, etc). my wakka is really weak and i only have Cura and not Curaga and none of my characters have auto regen or auto pheonix. my aons can only do 9999 damage, except Bahamut who can do about 15000. what a nasty repetitive game. to enjoy a game like this you need to it least complete it and go through the game again to fully understand and enjoy the story. BUT you have to spend so many pointless hours and days training just to kill an over the top boss. only japanese people could do this. i cannot believe how annoyingly sad some people are saying there on chapter 10 and already have ultima weapon. wtf. that will take days of boring repetitive fights. when you just wanna enjoy the game. am fuming as i have already started again due to chapter 11 boss. now i feel i have to start again as im on chapter 12 proudclad fight and i only have 1 weapon upgraded. lightnings weapon 2nd form ultima weapon level 21. no accessories are upgraded as i cba as you waste so much time and money upgrading them then a better 1 is available in the shops for an extra 10gil. wen u have just spent 10million gil upgrading the thing. 3 of my roles are maxed out but doing all 6 maxed out . OK, the thing is its for my laptop and due to the system requirements, most games don't run so well. The configurations are: Vista 64-bit 2GHz processor RAM 3GB Video Memory 64MB I know that the basics are good, but the vram or agp or whatever its called makes most games suck! So far I played Megaman X8 and it runs smoothly but games like Devil May Cry 3 really makes me cry (glitched). Because of this, I am now looking for cheap low quality good 3D games to play. Something like final fantasy 7 or 8 (please tell me the download link for the full pc versions, and don't give me the ultima version for FF7). Also, please give me the games which have a gamepad compatibility cause I don't want to jam my laptop keyboard. I really will appreciate those who answer my impossible question. Thanks more

Right, after six months of hiding from the last boss, I'm going to try and complete the game. I have one enemy left, and it's probably the strongest, Omega MK (the giant Mimic type thing, it lives in Great Crystal/Giruvegan). Characters and equipped weapons: Vaan = Tournesol, Grand Armour, Circlet, Ring of Renewal and he is level 99. Balthier = Golden Axe, Demon Shield, Golden Skullcap, Maximillian, a Nihopalaoa and he is level 83. Fran = Sagittarius, Artemis Arrows/Parallel Arrows, Golden Skullcap, Maximillian, Cameo belt and she is level 94. Basch = Ultima Blade, Golden Skullcap, Maximillian, Bubble Belt and he is level 99. Ashe = Excalibur, Golden Skullcap, Maximillian, Sages Ring and she is level 99. Penelo = Ragnarok, Golden Skullcap, Maximillian, Indigo Pendant and she is level 99. I need an alternative weapon for Ashe, as the Excalibur will heal Omega MK, but what weapon should it be? I've lost the second Ultima blade (I sold it), and I sold the strongest Samurai sword (I can't remember its name). The only chance of getting a Zodiac spear is in the Henne Mines (the special chest) since I opened a forbidden chest earlier in the game. I have all of the licences for all of them, and I have all of the Espers. I have 99 of every item apart from Motes and Megalixirs. I have three pieces of Dark Matter. I also have 5, 562, 587 Gil. Is Gil Toss effective on Omega MK? Will it inflict 9999 damage with each throw (when I use "Gil Toss" it always seems to inflict 9999 damage, and it always throws 9999 Gil). Is there any advice you could give? I'm going to level-up the characters that aren't 99, too, before I set off to Omega MK.Thanks. more

Ok, I just recently started playing 12 again, and decided I should go try to get Ultima. I took all that time to get down to her, took all that time to beat her, and now I'm stuck down there. I've used the 19th teleporter to get back to the 20th at the start, but the path that should lead to an exit is now just a dead end with 5 Mom Bombs in it. I tried opening the Aquarius gates with the gate key back near where Ultima was, but they got me nowhere. How the heck do I get out of this stupid place? im trying to forge ultima weapon i did all the instructions. i got the Pisces recipe code then i got ninja friend card so as golbez. but somehow im struggling defeating onion knight. i couln't brake his brave point i was like hitting only 100 brave points but he hit me like 5x more. how the fuck is that? im using zidane level 100. i pull off EX damage from 300 brave points to only 500 brave points. i got it perfectly but how the fuck is that. from other characters in the game with higher equipment i just pull the EX damage to them and that's it. onion knight break my brave points with just 1 hit combo and so on until he pulls out his physical damage WTF? so cheat.. im really frustrated and annoyed but i really want to get the ultima weapon..i need help please what equipment and accessories i need for zidane to beat onion knight. it doesn't feel like onion knight is level 100 he's more than that somehow his the only 1 i couldn't beat in the game so far. i know golbez would be tougher but yeah i decided to beat onion knight until he drops the Noah's flute so as Golbez Hisuhisura. more

okay,i beat this game when it first came out and decided to play it again for the hell of it.I cant remember if i ever beat the "butterfly catcher" and "chocobo trainer race",but im trying to beat those 2 now and it seems damn near impossible.Im obviously attempting these so i can use tidus's and kimahri's legendary weapons.Personally i think its F'n ridiculous to have to do these impossible,annoying,unfair,rage causing and B.S. mini-games to "USE" the damn weapons to their full potential.I mean,who the hell wants to get pissed off for hours(maybe days) at trying to clock in at 0:0:0? How can you avoid the red butteries when you cant even see there exact position on the runway because the game doesnt have the camera rotating button(R3)? How is it fair that the birds randomly come in from the right side,completely out of your view,and hit you? Im already at the end of the game,have all the aeons,did the other side quests,found all the legenary weapons,etc...By the way...Omega weapon was supposed to be the toughest boss in the game?!?! It was a huge disappointment,the fight was like 4-5 minutes and he died....And i did nothing fancy,just physical attacks...And no,im not confusing him with ultima weapon,cause i killed him first to continue to omega,obviously.Both fights we're like the same....I dont know,after playing FF12 to everything it offers and having some real challenges,Final fantasy 10 is a crock of crap.Im sorry guys,just needed some FFX venting.Final fantasy 13 needs to hurry the hell up and come out already! more
