Resolved Question: Business question - Marketer or PR?

I want to sell my marketing idea to major companies. For the past to 2 years I been developing a new computer marketing idea.. Its a very good idea, I know you all heard that before, but this is something different that no one has thought of.. I have developed my own software thats makes this marketing techneck possible. its very different and its very cool. Anyway i'm not a sales person, I'm looking to hire someone or partnership with someone in chicago, there's no money to spend all my samples are made, the companies i'm targeting are all major companies, Bro Bass, zoos, sports teams, and many more. I did sent a letter to Ftd flowers last week, i finally got in contact with CEO Robert Apatoffs secretary she said she would forward my letter to him, if i dont hear from him its 1800flowers, its been 4 days not heard from him, I will make a follow up call. If I got 15 mins of his time i think he would be blown away with my new techneck. Talking with these CEOs in person it like trying to talk to God.. I only plan to talk to the guys in charge.. Every company is looking for a marketing edge.. I guess my question would be, I don't want to hire a company, I want to start my own company. Would that be a marketing persons I need or do I need a PR person? Or just a good sales person to talk to the CEOs, I hate to say this but their like trying to talk to God. After 25 year of being a carpenter, out of work now and 15 years on the computer i'm pretty much a expert in Flash, Affect Affects, fireworks, max. Many people are out of work now, don't think it should be to hard to find someone. more

Resolved Question: the nitty gritty of starting a business in the fashion industry?

i'm 25 and my new years resolution is to set up my own fashion boutique. I am good at art and drawing and I love fashion. i do not have a fashion degree. my goal is to do volunteering work setting up a fashion show which I have already organised with a. volunteering company. first of all, I need to find a job to get the financial gain and then this is where I need to decide how much money I need and networking as well as having a reliable accountant. My dad is an accountant and my mum has her own launderette. the problem is my mum is supportive of my decision of opening up business, but she assumes I cant cope because there's so much pressure that's involved. it's not that she doesn't believe in me, she doesn't want me to struggle in business. that's one problem, how can I convince my mum to help me with my business? my dad is surely willing to help me too and he is staying positive about it. I know I need to research the market but how? how do you look into competitors? how do you see a gap in the market? how do you research your market than just researching online? a book tells me to write down how much income I will be getting each month? how do you estimate income as I need to find out the income I need each month and distinguish it with profit. the book tells me how to estimate how much income I'll be making in the first three months, how? how much money do you need anyway to set up a boutique? I know it goes down to hard work and pressure but with my passion for fashion, art and design, my mum (which I need convincing) owning her own launderette and my dad as an accountant, I know I can make it happen. how can you sample your product before its sold? how do you predict fashion trends? I will consider doing a fashion and art and design course but not later when I have everything planned. more

Resolved Question: If you were a CEO and I wanted to offer you my services, which approach would you prefer and recommend?

I am thinking of the Sales approach for me to use to market my products and services to the General Managers of Hotels, Restaurants, Sports Bars and other Corporate companies. So far I plan to tailor each individual 'ad' to each company to show exactly how they can benefit from my relevant products and services. However I don't want an approach that can easily be ignored, nor do I want the type of Sales Dog approach that makes people feel like they are being forced. If you were a CEO, what type of sales approach would make you sit back and go through a vendors portfolio looking at ways you can benefit and what would make you place and order or take up a service? Also which would you prefer, a fax of the list of services, an e-mail of the services, a sample with a business card and brochures delivered to your office, or a call telling you of the services offered and asking for a meeting to show you brochures and offer you samples? Which would be more effective in turning you from a stranger, to a friend and then to a customer? more

"Here are some new sleeping pills that work like a dream. A few of these and your trouble will be over." "Great," the blonde answered, "I'll try anything. Let's give it a shot." A few weeks later the blonde returned, looking worse than ever. "Doc, your plan is no good. I'm more tired than before!" "I don't understand how that could be", said the doctor, shaking his head. "Those are the strongest pills on the market!" "That may be true," answered the blonde wearily, "but I'm still up all night chasing those dogs and when I finally catch one it's hard getting him to swallow the pill!" ==== A police officer stops a blonde for speeding and asks her very nicely if he could see her license. She replied in a huff, "I wish you guys could get your act together. Just yesterday you take away my license and now today you expect me to show it to you." more

Resolved Question: Can any one translate this from gobbldey goop to English?

business plans structure Title page: Title or heading of the plan and brief description if required, author, date, company/organization if applicable, details of circulation and confidentiality. Contents page: A list of contents (basically the sections listed here, starting with the Introduction page) showing page numbers, plus a list of appendices or addendums (added reference material at the back of the document) allowing the reader to find what they need and navigate the document easily, and to refer others to particular items and page numbers when reviewing or querying. Introduction page: Introduction and purpose of the plan, terms of reference if applicable (usually for formal and large plans or projects). Executive summary page: Optional and usually beneficial, this should normally be no more than a page long (or it's not an executive summary) - the key points of the whole plan including conclusions, recommendations, actions, financial returns on investment, etc., clearly readable in a few minutes. Main body of plan: sections and headings as required, see template below. Acknowledgments and bibliography/reference sources: if relevant (only required normally for very large formal plans) Appendices: appendices or addendums - additional detailed reference material, examples, statistics, spreadsheets, etc., for reference and not central to the main presentation of your plan. business plans - main body sections examples template This sample template is typical for a sales/marketing/new business development business plan. (A business plan for a more complex project such as an international joint-venture, or the formation of a new company including manufacturing plant or other overhead activities would need to include relevant information and financials about the overheads and resources concerned, and the financials would need to show costs and profits more like a fully developed profit and loss account, with cashflow projections, balance sheet, etc.) Where appropriate refer to your position regarding corporate ethics and social responsibility. While these aspects are not mechanisms within the plan, they are crucial reference points. 1.Define your market - sector(s) and segment(s) definitions 2.Quantify your market (overview only) - size, segmentation, relevant statistics, values, numbers (locations, people/users, etc) - make this relevant to you business 3.Explain your market(s) - sector trends, eg., growth, legislation, seasonality, PEST factors where relevant, refer to Ansoff matrix, show the strategic business drivers within sector and segments, purchasing mechanisms, processes, restrictions - what are the factors that determine customers' priorities and needs - this is a logical place to refer to ethics and CSR (corporate social responsibility 4.Explain your existing business - your current business according to sector, products/services, quantities, values, distributor, etc. 5.Analyse your existing customer spread by customer type, values and products/services including major accounts (the 'Pareto Principle' or the '80:20 rule' often applies here, eg., 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers) 6.Explain your products and services - refer to Boston matrix and especially your strategic propositions (what these propositions will do for your customers) including your USP's and UPB's (see sales training section and acronyms) 7.Explain you routes to market, gatekeepers, influencers and strategic partners - the other organizations/individuals you will work with to develop your market, including 'what's in it for them', commissions, endorsements, accreditations, approvals, licenses, etc. 8.Case studies and track record - the credibility, evidence and proof that your propositions and strategic partnerships work 9.Competitor analysis, eg., SWOT analysis of your own business compared to SWOT analysis of each competitor 10.Sales/marketing/business plan (1 year min) showing sales and margins by product/service stream, mix, values, segment, 'distributor', etc, whatever is relevant, phased monthly, in as much detail as you need. This should be on a spreadsheet, with as many different sheets as necessary to quantify relevant inputs and outputs. 11.List your strategic actions (marketing campaigns, sales activities, advertising, etc) that will deliver the above, with costs and returns. This should be supported with a spreadsheet, showing cost and return on investment for each activity. Tip: If the business plan concerns an existing activity, use the previous year's sales/business analysis as the basis for the next year's sales/business plan. Adapt as necessary according to your new strategic plans. more

Resolved Question: i need a brief summary on this?

LAKE CITY, Minn. – Tim Byrne picked an apple from the spindly tree, sliced it and popped a chunk into his mouth. He couldn't have been more pleased as he chomped and got a juicy blast of sweet-tart flavor. "This is what's got us excited," Byrne said as he shared samples from a perfectly ripe SweeTango apple, which he and other growers are about to introduce as the successor to the incredibly successful Honeycrisp. Honeycrisp was a phenomenon in the apple industry because its taste and texture were so good it sold for about $1 more per pound than other varieties. Those investing in SweeTango are banking on it commanding the same premium price, and they've formed a cooperative to grow and sell it nationwide. SweeTango will start showing up in some Minnesota farmers markets Labor Day weekend and arrive in selected grocery stores around the Twin Cities, Seattle and Rochester, N.Y., a few days later. If all goes according to plan, the apple should be available nationwide in 2011 or 2012, said Byrne, who's president of the cooperative and vice president of sales and marketing for Pepin Heights Orchards in southeastern Minnesota. SweeTango and Honeycrisp were developed at the University of Minnesota. The new apple has Honeycrisp's crispness and juice but kicks up the flavor and adds an intriguing note of fall spice. It was made by crossing Honeycrisp with Zestar!, another University of Minnesota variety. "It inherited Honeycrisp's texture, and that's a rare commodity, and it actually has more flavor than Honeycrisp," said David Bedford, the university apple breeder who helped develop Honeycrisp and SweeTango. Another asset is SweeTango is ready in early September. "Woefully few" premium apples come out then, when produce managers are eager for something new to start the fall season, Byrne said. The university earned more than $8 million from Honeycrisp, mostly from a $1 per tree royalty paid by licensed nurseries before the patent expired in November. The school will earn a similar royalty on the SweeTango patent. But it also licensed the SweeTango trademark to Byrne and a group of growers who audaciously named their cooperative the Next Big Thing, in the hope that SweeTango will prove as lucrative as Honeycrisp. The co-op will pay the school 4.5 percent of the apple's net wholesale sales in perpetuity. Bedford said he expects the university to earn as much on the deal as it did from Honeycrisp, with the money supporting more research. But Byrne said he expects the school to do even better. The arrangement creates a "managed variety," a relatively new concept for U.S. growers but more common abroad. The Jazz apple from New Zealand and Pink Lady from Australia are managed varieties sold in the U.S. Honeycrisp is a managed variety in Europe. The deal gives Next Big Thing control over who can grow SweeTango and where, and how the apple is marketed and shipped. The co-op has about 72 growers in Minnesota, Michigan, New York, Washington, Wisconsin, Quebec and Nova Scotia. Any Minnesota grower can get licensed through Pepin Heights to grow and sell SweeTango at their farms, farmers markets or to local grocers. Byrne said 87 have signed up. They pay the $1 per tree royalty, but not the 4.5 percent of sales. Growers outside Minnesota must join the co-op to get SweeTango. The trees likely won't be available to the general public until the patent expires in 2028, Byrne said. Other major horticultural schools are developing managed varieties, too, including the apple programs at Cornell University and Washington State University. But only the top new varieties are likely to attract enough interest to merit becoming managed, said Bedford, who expects most to be released to everyone as before. An important advantage of managed varieties is they allow growers to enforce high quality standards, Byrne said. An emerging problem with Honeycrisp, which debuted in 1991, is that anyone can grow it, so it's now planted at some sites that are too warm and the quality can suffer, he said. And Byrne said quality is the key to getting Americans, particularly children, to eat more apples. Many kids have been turned off by the low-quality apples they often get at school, he said. "We're fighting for that share of stomach," Byrne said, "and we firmly believe that we have to be able to provide a great eating experience so that when a kid is given a choice between a really good apple and something else snacky, that the apple will be the one they choose." more

Resolved Question: Russia's version of the new world reserve currency --- Should that get more media attention than it has?

Russia will raise the idea of a new international reserve currency at the meeting of the Group of Eight leading economic nations, top Kremlin economic aide Arkady Dvorkovich says. He said that although Russia would not try to undermine the US dollar, there is a more immediate opportunity for some currencies to play a greater regional role, Reuters reported. Dvorkovich, who was speaking to journalists on the eve of the G8 summit that begins in Italy on Wednesday, said the opportunity for new reserve currencies should be addressed during the G8 meeting. China and Russia "will state that the creation of any reserve currencies is a gradual process that needs evolutionary development," he added. "This is connected with the creation of several regional reserve currencies, which may then become international." http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=100095&sectionid=351020602 http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aeFVNYQpByU4 By Lyubov Pronina July 10 (Bloomberg) -- Russian President Dmitry Medvedev illustrated his call for a supranational currency to replace the dollar by pulling from his pocket a sample coin of a “united future world currency.” “Here it is,” Medvedev told reporters today in L’Aquila, Italy, after a summit of the Group of Eight nations. “You can see it and touch it.” The coin, which bears the words “unity in diversity,” was minted in Belgium and presented to the heads of G-8 delegations, Medvedev said. ________________________________________ The US is for now the world reserve currency The US therefore is the only nation is the world who can pay its own debts in its own currency --- Other nations buy US dollars to pay off theirs The US has been the world reserve currency for decades and every nation that needed to buy oil or shop on the international market has been forced to do it in US dollars Cracks have begun to appear over the last decade or so ---China is angry that the US dollar has dropped in value making their investments into the US less profitable Iraq --- stopped selling in dollars and started selling in Euros --- Iran is doing the same thing and sells China their oil in Yuans along with Pakistan and others who are happy to pay in their own currency ------------- Decades worth of dollar hording have gone on -- ------------ Every nation on the globe has horded US dollars to buy oil and some have large Treasury bonds The Russians are proposing a slow introduction into the end of the US dollar as world reserve ---------- which will return untold trillions to the open market Slow might give the US a chance to claw back production and shrink the money supply --- fast - or failure to act will collapse the US economy by destroying the worth of the dollar ---------- Should the President of Russia's bold new currency and plans to kick the US dollar to the curb recieve more media attention than it has ? Resolved Question: Spiritually speaking, can someone proofread my cover letter?

EcoVentures International 1519 Connecticut Ave. NW, Suite 301 Washington, DC 20036 To Whom It May Concern: Being an environmentally-conscious college student, I have a strong desire to advance the cause of sustainable development in communities across the globe. That is why I was excited to learn that your organization has an operations and outreach intern position open. With my previous work experience and a passion to create a greener world, I am sure you will find me a viable candidate for this internship. In past jobs, I did many of the same tasks that are required of an operations and outreach intern. During my time at the National Science Resources Center, I helped plan an event where the company’s educational products were marketed to various clients across the world. In doing so, I learned to maintain contact databases, complete logistical work, distribute company brochures, and do other general administrative tasks like faxing material and keeping in contact with our clients. As a Community Assistant, I cared for the needs of several hundreds of students in the dorm community I worked in. This included doing database work on students, making routine calls to students about various dorm issues, distributing college material, and working with higher officials in the Resident Life department. This internship will fulfill my yearning to help the environment, which has grown over the past year. In college, I am studying civil engineering with a focus on the environment to learn how to better our world through a technical lens. With this knowledge, I hope to later get involved in environmental public policy on the federal and international levels to foster more aggressive environmental initiatives. Hopefully this brief letter has grabbed your interest. A resume and writing sample is also provided to give you a better idea of my qualifications. I welcome the opportunity to have an interview to answer any questions. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to speak with you in the future. Sincerely, Name What do you think? more

Resolved Question: Should i ask the printer to redo at no charge to me?

I recently wrote a booklet-23 pages-8.3x3.5 about how to help children improve their reading skills, which i am planning to market to companies and organizations that might have an interest in ordering many copies. I will be sending sample copies and a cover letter to these companies and organizations. I ordered about 100 copies from the printer. These copies are going to be used for marketing purposes-they will be my sample copies. I looked over the proof and it was good,so i gave the go ahead. Then i paid for the 100 sample copies- 2 dollars and change for each copy- plus a set up cost. I looked the copies over and half of them have a printing error. Not a terrible one, but noticeable. It is that the last word in one of the paragraphs is completely separated from the paragraph, and hanging between that paragraph and the next. Okay, its not terrible and the rest of the book looks pretty good. But these are my sample copies and i paid for it. I called the printer and spoke very politely to him. He was surprised to hear it, but went to check- i guess on his machine/printer/computer, or whatever he has over there. He said yes- he sees now how that happened and offered to change it for the next batch. He said he'll do it right away, and asked me when i'm ordering the next batch. I said i was not planning on ordering another batch now. It was obvious that he was not offering to redo the bad half at no charge. I just got off the phone and didnt say anything. Now i dont know what to do. I could mail out even those 'bad' ones as sample copies and hope the potential customers wont make a deal about that printing error, but i dont know how they'll react. I can just send out the good copies and save the less than perfect ones for when people order. But i did pay full price for decent copies, to be able to use as samples. If you think i should insist that he redo it at no charge, how should i approach him? He is obviously not eager to redo them. more

Resolved Question: what do u think of this marketing idea and what do u think the response will be?

straight forward idea me and my friend are setting up a food home delivery company we are experts in our field but not advertising we plan to market it in the following way one van 2 guys we will distribute 6000 sample Boxes a week to houses by hand, leaving them at peoples letter box's and door steps the box will be a very attractive packaged box with a sample cookie inside a menu of our business all professionally thought out and executed with ribbons, logos and all the info inside if we distribute 6000 a week for a month how do u gauge what the Response will be, we thought maybe 6% so 360 people will then buy and try our service, most people i have talked to think that the response will be higher due to the nature of the advertising package. there is to much detail to go into the product we are selling, it is extensive and high quality and appeals to the mass market, it is a very reliable home delivery company with a huge selection of freshly made and delivered products please could u just answer on the response rate queried i have asked direct advertising i know delivers between 1-5% we believe this will be higher what do u think? more

Resolved Question: I guess you could call this a survey question regarding formula feeding?

I'm curious about parents who are formula feeding but planned to breastfeed. Did you get formula from your OB/Hospital/Pediatrician without asking for it? Did you get marketing materials from any formula companies or samples of free formula in the mail? I got formula from my OB, the hospital, and from my pediatrician's office upon request when my twins were born. I say upon request because I was told that if you have twins and your pediatrician sends a letter to enfamil they give you a free case so I had them send a letter when my girls were around 6 weeks old. Aside from that, though, I got checks, free formula in the mail, pamplets, and a "breastfeeding" bag from Enfamil (2 actually, 1 for each baby) where they had a little booklet about problems with breastfeeding, ice bags for frozen milk with the enfamil logo on them, and free cans of formula. Is it any wonder I ended up giving my twins formula constantly when they came home and I was frustrated with pumping and trying to get them to nurse? With my son, whom I am breastfeeding, I have gotten nothing. No formula from my midwife, no swag bag, nothing in the mail because the office I went to with my son doesn't sell your info to nestle, the makers of similac, and enfamil. Nothing from the hospital because they are recognized by the WHO as baby friendly... nothing! Is it any wonder that I am breastfeeding him with success? Just curious if you all had the same experience as me!That must have been annoying Ebey! I want to say, I have no issue with women who wanted to formula feed from the beginning and doing it. I just get sad when women wanted to breastfeed but failed. That happened to me and it's a bummer. more

Resolved Question: Why has the Election commission not taken any action against the Congress party for misuse of Govt machinery?

In a planned and systematic effort to gain unfair advantage over other political parties, the Congress Party has named all major government programmes, projects and institutions in the country after three members of the Nehru-Gandhi family - Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru – who are its icons, and disturbed the level playing field in the electoral arena. Here is a sample: Rajiv Gandhi Breakfast Scheme, Pondicherry; Rajiv Ratna Awas Yojana, Delhi; Rajiv Arogyasri Health Insurance scheme, Andhra Pradesh; Rajiv Gandhi Computer Literacy Mission, Assam; Rajiv Gandhi Bridges and Roads Infrastructure Development Programme, Haryana; Rajiv Gandhi Vidyarthi Suraksha Yojana, Maharastra; Rajiv Gandhi Tourism Development Mission, Rajasthan; Indira Kranthi Patham Scheme and Indira Jeevitha Bima Pathakam, Andhra Pradesh; Indira Gandhi Niradhar Yojana and Indira Gandhi Landless Agriculture Labour Scheme, Maharastra; Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Vivah Shagun Yojana, Haryana; Indira Gandhi Calf-Rearing Scheme, Andhra Pradesh. Obviously, the plan is to ensure maximum recall of Brand Congress among voters at every stage in life. Therefore, nothing is left out. The crèche for children of the working poor is named after Rajiv Gandhi. So is a breakfast scheme for poor children. The parents need to remember him for a host of other reasons – rural drinking water, rural electrification or scholarships. Indira Gandhi comes in when the poor want a house subsidized by the government and you think of Nehru when urban renewal programmes come into play. The Congress Party has taken its obsession with this family to such an extent that even calf-rearing schemes are named after them. Shockingly, even Brand IIM had been tinkered with. While all institutes of management started by the Centre go under the IIM brand, the Congress Party has mischievously named the IIM is Shillong as the Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management. This blatant attempt to package and market government programmes run on public money as munificent offerings from a single family to the people has made a mockery of the Model Code of Conduct drawn up by the Election Commission for observance by all political parties. http://www.lkadvani.in/eng/content/view/855/424 more

Resolved Question: Do you have trouble sleeping?

An exhausted blonde dragged herself in to the Doctor’s office. “Doctor, there are dogs all over my neighborhood. They bark all day and all night, and I can’t get a wink of sleep.” “I have good news for you,” the doctor answered, rummaging through a drawer full of sample medications. “Here are some new sleeping pills that work like a dream. A few of these and your trouble will be over.” “Great,” the woman answered, “I’ll try anything. Let’s give it a shot.” A few weeks later the blonde returned, looking worse than ever. “Doc, your plan is no good. I’m more tired than before!” “I don’t understand how that could be, said the doctor, shaking his head. “Those are the strongest pills on the market!” “That may be true,” answered the woman wearily, “but I’m up all night chasing those dogs, and when I finally catch one ..... they wont swallow itl!!!” more

Future value: Chuck Tomkovick is planning to invest $25,000 today in a mutual fund that will provide a return of 8 percent each year. What will be the value of the investment in 10 years? Patrick Seeley has $2,400 that he is looking to invest. His brother approached him with an investment opportunity that could double his money in four years. What interest rate would the investment have to yield in order for Patrick’s brother to deliver on his promise? Growing perpetuity: You are evaluating a growing perpetuity product from a large financial services firm. The product promises an initial payment of $20,000 at the end of this year and subsequent payments that will thereafter grow at a rate of 3.4 percent annually. If you use a 9 percent discount rate for investment products, what is the present value of this growing perpetuity? Computing annuity payment: Gary Whitmore is a high school sophomore. He currently has $7,500 in a money market account paying 5.65 percent annually. He plans to use this and his savings over the next four years to buy a car at the end of his sophomore year in college. He estimates that the car will cost him $12,000 in four years. How much should he invest in the money market account every year for the next four years if he wants to achieve his target? more

Resolved Question: Choosing the right camera. Please Help?

I am in the market for a new digital camera. I want something with great picture quality and decent features. I would prefer something that allows for full manual mode. I am planning on using the camera to take pictures of my child, however; I would also like to take some outdoor night and daytime photographs. I have been doing an extensive amount of research, and decided on the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28. Then I read bad reviews saying it doesn't take great pictures of children or moving objects. I am planning to spend about $600. I do know a bit about photography, having taken a few classes, so I feel comfortable with almost any type of camera. I'm just looking for personal opinions/experience. Some sample pictures would be nice, but I'll take what I can get! Thank you. more

Resolved Question: What do you think about a math book with only examples ?

If you have already answered, then please don't respond again. I would like to know the opinions of those who haven't had a chance to answer. Students in my past algebra classes (college level) have informed me that the textbooks do not have enough examples and lack detail. (I don't want to go into the details of this, but it's mainly to reduce the cost of the book). I am currently working on an example book just for ALGEBRA. The purpose of this book is to provide a variety of examples for students. I do plan on marketing this book for teachers, students as well home-schoolers. There will be detailed examples at different degrees of difficulty. It will also contain practice problems, with the solutions online. In addition, a few of the examples will require thought process, and will not be found in any other textbooks. It will also contain real life application problems that use algebra, unlike those train problems. This will give students an interesting perspective on algebra. I realize there are some books out there such as Schaum's outlines, but they usually only contain simple examples that you can find in any math book. I am not recommending students learn algebra from this book. It should not be mistaken for a textbook, but rather an example book to be used along with the required textbook. I would like to hear from some of you and what you think. Any suggestions are appreciated. Resolved Question: Cadburys new flavours? Hit or miss?

bit of a questionaire please. On september 8th cadburys launches two new dairy milk bars, given that cadburys is britans number one, with anual sales of £370million, what is the company trynu do? surely most of the sales of a new dairy milk bar will just be switchers from its existing brands? They have decided to change the packaging nd product name.. the new products are 'appricot crumble crunch' and 'cranberry and granola' they say these emerged as the favourite after they tested 200 flavour combinations over an eightenn month period. its plan is to tap into the trend towards better-for-you- ingreedients. the packaging emphasises the fruit and tones down the traditional packaaging which just suggests CHOCOLATEEEE! they say its aim is to make the new product distinct from the everyday bars and to appeal especially to women. unlike past launches of dairy milk products, cadbury feels it must offer free sampling, with most new products laucnhes in the chocolate market, consumers happily spend 50p on something new, to me this suggests cadbury lacks confidence that people will risk their own 50ps trying the product, but also implies that the company beleives people will love it if they try it? --think of 3 reasons why these 2 new products may sucseed the marketplace --think of think of 3 reasons why these 2 new products may fail --on balance do you tink that these products will still be in shops in a years time? or do you think they will have flopped? -justify --wheather or not the product is a sucess, discuss wheather you think cadburys is doing the right thing in attempting to provide chocolate bars with a more healthy image? more
