Resolved Question: Photography business rates/pricing?
I have officially begun launching my photography business!! I wasn't planning on doing so until closer to Christmas but thanks to me uploading some recent family shoots on facebook, I'm getting several requests from friends to do their families!! I have my first official shoot in late August and I'm torn on how to do the pricing. here are the two options I was going to offer: 1. 125.00 fee for a 1 hour shoot which includes a nice leather proof album with 24 prints (of the customer's choice) inside. They would also get their digital negatives on a disk but those negatives would still have my copyright on them (if they wanted to print the photos w/out the copyright, they would have to order them separately from me-the prices would be reasonable. for example a 5x7 print would cost about 4 dollars each). 2. a flat rate fee of 250.00 which would include the 1 hour photo session and they would then get the digital negatives on a disk WITHOUT my copyright on them so they would be free to print off as many prints and sizes as they wished. now this is only for your typical family, child, maternity shoots. for weddings, reunions, etc I would definitely charge more. here are some samples of my work (now remember-I'm a beginner-I have classes starting next month to learn more about lighting, posing, etc. will be taking classes for the next 3 months at our local college)... http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosbyang/ (click on the albums on the left) thoughts? thanks everyonenever said anything about home printing my photos-i would NEVER do this with as much as I charge and where I live-my prices are cheap (most of my photography buddies charge 250 and up for their time). I have a professional printing lab near my house that I use to print my photos and put them on disks... moreResolved Question: photography business rates?

I was just reading through questions and came across this answer that someone gave 3 out of 4 people do it but the bottom line up front is that there are many different reasons for doing it and not all of them are criminal. For instance, it's against the copyright law to profit from another persons intellectual property (book, music, video, etc.) but not just to watch, listen to or read it. If it were, libraries could not check out books and videos. Most people don't do it as a business, they do it to see if they like the artist or product. Like sampling a cologne at the mall. I was wondering if this person is correct, and pirating IS legal. Or is it still illegal? Please be descriptive with your answer!!! I do not pirate or steal music, nor do I plan to. I am just curious about the law (I love disclaimers) moreResolved Question: Conspiracy Theory. Do you find most of these thing as Nuts as I do?
Here is a sample of a Spoof on the past and latest. The WTF or World Task Force has released a new comprehensive study into all possible solutions to areas stricken with Over crowed schools, huge economic downturns and the increase in School and Business closures across America and globally. After many years of tax dollars and revenues from various state lottery dollars and taxes on revenues from Casinos the WTF published in the WTF Journal on 7/09/2010 a comprehensive solution to the crisis. According to the report from spokes person and client of WTF Mr. Bullshivik the solution is for children to simply "Not Go." According to the findings this will result in the overall reduction of students so teachers can focus on actually intelligent children who will benefit from a more direct eduction, and though as a by product this will mean more hooligans in the streets joining gangs and becoming likely to increase in involvement with illegal conduct such as drugs a d prostitution, the benefits will far outweigh the crisis as providing more intelligent specialized children, increase in robotic technologies to supplant a dwindling work force, a resulting drop in excessive population issues allowing gang violence to increase and life threatening diseases to take out the extra baggage and justify the discontinuation of public assistance networks and services that are bankrupting the economy. In addition there will be better jobs available for those who abandon these regions who have received the education and such as health-care and related public services can be geared more towards the better social stock of the civilization and in the resulting slums allow nature to take its course. These regions can than be isolated and walled up and allowed to crumble and will be policed by armed soldiers and regional marshals to prevent the isolated regions that will be called WCS or World Controlled Sectors or CICs which are Civil Isolation Centers, to keep UIs or Undesirable Influences from Civil City Regions, or CCRs. Those that would otherwise continue to be a strain on the legal system including inmates from various prisons will also be reassigned to a CIC (pronounced Sick in English) which will further reduce the excessive expenses of having to build larger prison systems on valuable lands and potential centers of much needed resources and can be applied Internationally in order to preserve a Democratic Culture and Civil Society. Political Adviser, Harry Dickers agreed and expect the predominant targeted UIs to be the largest resistance in the New World Restoration Effort of House Bill NWRE 187 which also gives clear and decisive power of private vote to the new and intended UPELG-GA or Unified Political, Executive and Legislative Governance of Global Allience once such a program is initiated and will after a swift Military effort be more than sufficient in initiating the round up program called Operation Ditch the Dirt or ODTD and those who have been causing a financial burden not just in the US but in the World economy. This will include the Homeless, and those who are considered terminally ill, disabled, Mentally deficient or challenged, or don't speak the language, as well as addicts to illegal and prescription drugs, as anyone with any observable and irrevocable debts. The WTF and intended UPELG-GA plan on presenting this to countries with all the research and evidence under a secret UN meeting with nations most likely to support the efforts and the program models in exchange to private resources and shared economic benefits to the officials and their families as a UN bill called WDR or World Divine Retribution and believed it will pass with a 9 out of 10 percentile with the elimination of so called outmoded International laws. In addition the policy will allow for the discontinuation of trades with all other countries whose conditions and technological underdevelopment have only further served to stress global economic infrastructures and will be effectively cut off and allowed to perish at their own hands, and any of those intending to try and invade or sneak into "restricted countries" will be executed as threats to the Global and International security of the intended UPELG-GA. This report by the WTF has been applauded as an intelligent and un-bias approach to solving the present over all crisis the World is enduring and a Tribunal of members of the UPELG-GA will be considered as privately elected International Presidential Members. In addition Science and Technology will be the only accepted social truth in the new GA for short of the UPELG-GA and any and all religions, religious institutions and so forth will be effectively banned as psychologically detrimental to the over all progress of the New World Agenda. After the successful completion of the Agenda the Aliens will be more open to land and once more interact with the Superior global soc moreResolved Question: Need a Business Plan Presentation Sample?

Bob loves making candy, especially varieties of caramel, including plain, chocolate dipped caramels and chocolate dipped caramels with pecans. Bob has received lots of compliments from his friends and neighbors, and several have encouraged him to start his own candy making business. After several days of research, Bob finds that the national average amount of money spent annually per person on this type of specialty candy is $75. Bob believes that the citizens in his area spend more than that per year. Knowing whether or not this is true could help Bob make a wise decision regarding his future business plans. Bob wants to use statistics to support his claim, and to help him obtain a small business loan. Bob also wants to find an estimate of the true amount of money local citizens do spend on this type of specialty candy. Bob randomly selects several people from his local phone book and asks the person that answers how much money they typically spend per year on candy like he will make. He obtains the following results (in dollars): 75, 74, 80, 68, 79, 85, 77, 82, 79, 67, 90, 72, 76, 75, 69, 85, 78, 79, 82, 66, 75, 85, 90, 76, 85, 67, 89, 82, 69, 79, 82, 80, 84, 79, 78, 81, 77, 84, 80, 76. I got a pap smear done at my general practitioner's office about a month and a half ago. I payed my usual copay for the visit and went about my business. A few weeks later, I got a bill for $160 from the lab where my sample was tested. It said that gonorrhea and chlamydia tests were also done and as my insurance does not cover this testing, I owe them $160. I called my doctor and spoke to three people who denied that these STD tests were usually included in a pap smear and said that it must have been done at the lab mistakenly, as the doctor’s office certainly didn't order it. One of the women actually put me on hold and when she returned informed me she had asked just my doctor specifically and the doctor told her the tests were not ordered. I then called the lab and they said that it was in written in bold at the bottom of the doctor’s order that the additional tests should be done, and they faxed proof of this to my doctor's office. Finally, I called back and spoke to a woman at the doctor’s office who told me she would file some sort of paperwork with the lab stating that the test had been ordered in error and would let me know when it was taken care of. Fast forward to yesterday, when I called the doctor’s office for an unrelated reason and while I was at it asked about the status of the claim. I received a call back from the office manager today informing me that my doctor told her it is standard of care to include gonorrhea and chlamydia in pap smears for a woman in my age range (18-25). So… the doctor and staff were either lying to me two weeks ago or they’re lying to me now. I would really appreciate advice on how to move forward with this. I’m pretty sure the doctor is just hoping I’ll give up as she doesn’t want to admit her mistake/absorb the cost but I’m not letting this go. Could someone please let me know if doing STD testing automatically with a pap smear is actually standard of care for a woman my age? I spoke to another doctor today who said it was not standard of care and I plan to check with others. Besides, I have been getting pap smears for about 5 years now and I have never had a gonorrhea or chlamydia test done automatically along with it. In fact, my old gynecologist mentioned the option of the extra tests a few years ago but then gave me the opportunity to check if it was covered by my insurance and I refused it as it was not covered. Instead, I got a much cheaper STD test through my school health center. I’m aware that it may seem silly that I’m fighting over only $160, but to put things in perspective I make only $200/wk on good weeks and that normally goes to food, rent, and other necessities, which I’d rather not sacrifice for the sake of testing I did not consent to. Plus there’s the whole justice thing. moreResolved Question: where can i get a sample plan for an investment club?

Okay, so I had an interview today with a restaurant called Rosita's for a waitering position. It's family owned and I start training in a few weeks. The manager never said anything about a drug screening or anything. I'm only 18 and I'm clean as of right now but I was just wondering ... I hear businesses will usually have you go straight from the interview to a clinic to have you provide a sample. This way, they can make sure you aren't a druggie off the bat instead of waiting till the day you actually start. That way they don't' waste all that time with you. Is it true? This place isn't really high class or anything except for the fact that everyone wears nice dress shirts and pants. P.S. I haven't smoked the past 5 months, before that I smoked regularly for about 3 years. I just stopped for a little bit because I had to find a second job over the summer and I plan on starting back up soon. Hello. It is my intention to submit a resignation letter with two week notice really soon. While I know the gist and format of what a resignation letter should look like, I do have a few specific questions about writing and submitting the letter based on my particular situation. -I am a stockperson/receiver for a sizeable business. -I work directly under the supervision of the stock/receiving manager. -He is but one of a whole team of managers to whom I can report. -My stockroom manager doesn't work behind a desk - no formal setup. -There is one general manager for this business, one assistant manager, one scheduling/assistant manager, etc. etc. (I think in total there's 8 managers) -Aside from my stockroom manager, I do not know on a day-to-day basis which of the higher-up managers is scheduled to be there (the managers' schedule is not publicly posted). So, my questions ... A lot of the sample resignation letters I have seen on the web and in books show that I should specifically direct it to a named person. (ex: Dear Mr. [name of manager]) Should I direct it to just my stockroom manager? Or do I need to direct it the general manager? If I don't know whether the general manager is there on the day I go to submit it, would it be okay to submit the letter to one of the other various managers (even though it wouldn't be directed at their names)? Better yet, can I just direct it to the very basic "To whom it may concern" (that way all of the managers I might encounter would be covered)? Okay, so say I direct it specifically to the general manager, and go so far as putting his name on the envelope ... Say I end up having to submit this envelope to one of the other managers ... Do I tell this other manager what it is I'm handing them for the general manager? Since my plan is to provide them with a two week notice (and so the letter and such should be dated and the final day of working would be noted) ... Can I just tell whoever it is I hand the envelope to that it's a resignation letter with two week notice ending my work on such-and-such a date. If I end up having to give it to one of the other managers and do this (letter directed at the general manager), do I basically have to have this whole conversation again with the general manager next time the mgr and myself do see each other? Please, any and all help is greatly appreciated! Hehehe ... the sooner the better!Another thing ... Would it be okay to just informally tell my stockroom manager my plans to quit, and then do the letter thing for the general manager beyond that? Or do I need to officially give my stockroom manager a letter too? moreResolved Question: Legal/Social Assistance?!?
I need homework help! I have a fairly good idea of how I'll answer this but I need a minimum of 3 pages on how I would ethically perform this task. It would be great to have a second opinion though since this will count for 10% of my grade. Please answer if you have knowledge of the subject! Thank-you! Foggy Development recently acquired property near a local hospital. The company’s goal is to develop the property into a high-end subdivision with luxury homes suitable for the doctors and administrators who work at the hospital and other high income families such as business owners. The company paid a premium for the land because of its superior location for housing. However, after closing the deal, the company discovered some debris through preliminary investigation that might indicate the property may have served as a clandestine (illegal) landfill for hazardous waste many years ago. Some might conclude that some medical wastes were deposited there in distant past along with other things that might be considered toxic or otherwise harmful. An extensive and expensive investigation would have to be undertaken to know for sure if the land is dangerous or if the land could be considered safe for its intended use. No public records exist that identify any uses of the property that would indicate a problem and surface soil samples do not reveal a problem. The public records indicate the land was a woods since the days it had been platted. You have been hired as the Director of Development for Foggy Development and directed to execute a plan to start development of the property for housing. Discuss your course of action and apply ethical principals that guide you to your decision. moreResolved Question: I have some difficulty in understanding the this declivities below! Can anyone help to understand? Many thanks!?

The assessment methods should be consistently applied to all candidates for a vacancy and may include, but not be limited to: • Interview • Skills/aptitude test • Work samples/simulations • Psychological testing • Reference check (mandatory for the recommended applicant) Following the collation of information from the various sources, including the candidate’s application/resume, the selection panel will review all the information and determine a ranking of the candidates. The ranking will identify the candidates who meet the criteria and order of merit. Step 12: Verbal offer of employment to preferred candidate and discuss employment terms and conditions. The relevant Line Executive/Chairperson/Line Manager makes contact with the recommended candidate and informs them of the offer subject to relevant conditions. The contact may address: • Remuneration package details • Relocation budget/costs • Availability for commencement • Clarify terms and conditions of appointment including tenure, probation etc. This should be undertaken immediately on receiving approval of the recommendation. Step 13: Make written offer of employment to candidate. HR will arrange for the formal written offer and contract of employment to be prepared (in accordance with the selection report) and dispatched within 1 day of receipt of the approved Selection Report and recommendation. Step 15: Arrange appointment and commence induction process. HR will ensure that all appointment documentation is stored on the Vacancy File and the appointment is finalised. This will include: • Obtaining a signed contract of employment • Update of all information/records (eg. ALESCO System) • Ensure induction is planned and conducted • Storage and retention of all original recruitment and selection documentation for 12 months in accordance with relevant records management guidelines.mine: Managers identify vacancy for reasons that can include: dismissal, leave, resignation, terminations, retirement or work requirement changes. Review the need for the position to fill the vacancy Managers will look at the short term and long term requirements for the position. Things they need to consider include: staffing plan/profile for the work area, budget, current /future requirements, job skill requirements, adequacy and accuracy of the position description and whether the position is approved and established. Determine the most effective recruitment strategy to acquire a pool of candidates The manager would find best way to attract candidates who would be suitable for the business. Some of these methods include advertising, the internet, newspapers, and journals, recent candidates from previous recruitment activities, job networks and recruitment agencies.Commence selection by reviewing applications and determine a shortlist of candidates The chairperson of the selection panel would then make a shortlist of candidates by reviewing the applications. To do this the chairperson has to make sure all members or a representative sub-group has a chance to read all the applications. Then they will make a decision by identifying and selecting who is most suitable for the job. The selection panel will put together a summary assessment and rank each of the candidates against the selection criteria for inclusion in the selection report. Here it is necessary to look at pre-selection interviews or other documents to decide on a manageable shortlist. Candidates who were not put on the shortlist would be told they weren’t successful. Assess short listed candidates Here the selection panel will assess each of the candidates they chose to put on the shortlist. They will conduct interviews or use other methods to acquire the most suitable person forthe job. They need to consider the business’ needs, position role and accountabilities and selection criteria. The methods used for selecting a member of staff should be the same for every person. The methods can include interviews, skills/aptitude tests, work samples/simulations, psychological testing and reference checks. After acquiring all the information needed, the selection panel would review the information they have gathered and rank all the candidatesFollowing the collation of information from the various sources, including the candidate’s application/resume, the selection panel will review all the information and determine a ranking of the candidates. The ranking will identify the candidates who meet the criteria and order of merit. Verbal offer of employment to preferred candidate and discuss employment terms and conditions. The executive/chairperson or manager will contact the candidate and inform them of the offer, work conditions and expectations. Information can include: remuneration package details, relocation budget/costs, availability for commencement, clarify terms and conditions of appointment including tenure and probation. Managers are expected to clarify these terms immediately on receiving approval of the recommendation.Make written offer of employment to candidate. The manager will write a formal offer and provide the contract of employment. The letter of approval and contract would be sent within one day of receipt of the approved Selection Report and recommendation. Arrange appointment and commence induction process. The manager has to make sure the appointment is finalized and all the documentation is stored on the Vacancy File. This will include: finding a signed contract of employment, update of all information/records, ensuring induction is planned and conducted and storage and retention of all original recruitment and selection documentation for twelve months is in accordance with relevant records management guidelines.i did it for you check your e-mail moreResolved Question: should i setup a music studio as business? (points for best answer)?
i was wondering, in your opinion, do you think it would be a good idea to setup a music recording studio as a business? right now im in college for a criminal justice degree and plan on making a career in law enforcement, but ive always been very musically inclined and just passionate about music in general. Dont get me wrong, i dont plan on abandoning my current carreer path (as a matter of fact i plan on doing both if the money and time is there) and i have no illusions about how hard it is to be successful in the music industry and how artist make money (what little there is left to be made). i myself am a musician and make my own music. after hours of editing and sampling, etc, etc, i find that i actually enjoy the process of producing a record itself. so naturally i want to possibly explore the possibilties of setting up my own studio (perhaps one day a label). im prepared to invest as much money as necessary to do this, i estimate it would take at the least a 10-15 grande investment (not including leased office space, and yes i know what i will need to set up a studio). i live pretty close to raleigh north carolina and beleive i would probably set up somewhere in the research triangle. i also plan on being the sole employee / owner (maybe hire 1 or 2 people if i make money) what i want to know is, how hard is it for a recording studio to make money? would it be hard to attract business in the raleigh area? and how much do music studios typically charge to work with artist? I'm thinking about selling mark. cosmetics. I'm 19 years old and attending college for a degree in business management. I understand I will not make a living and I don't plan on selling mark. to make a great deal of money, I just think it will be fun and something my friends and classmates will be interesting in buying and love. I'm very concerned with giving them my credit card number but I understand it is necessary, so my first question is what exactly do they charge your credit card for? I am aware of the $20 start up fee, and the orders that are placed will obviously be charged on my card as well, but what else is there? How much is shipping for the products and do I have to pay for that as well? To my understanding, there isn't a monthly amount of orders I have to place, correct? A lot of things I am reading online is that people order a large amount of product expecting it to sell and then are stuck with the extra and can not return it. Would it be reasonable to only order product when there is a request from a customer? I understand I'll have to buy product for myself and for sampling purposes so they can see it on someone, but other than that I don't see why I should have to order large sums to sell with out people ordering it in the first place. Other than these specific questions any advice or other opinions on selling mark. would be helpful! Thank you! (: moreResolved Question: I am very much interested in export business from India. However I don't want an approach that can easily be ignored, nor do I want the type of Sales Dog approach that makes people feel like they are being forced. If you were a CEO, what type of sales approach would make you sit back and go through a vendors portfolio looking at ways you can benefit and what would make you place and order or take up a service? Also which would you prefer, a fax of the list of services, an e-mail of the services, a sample with a business card and brochures delivered to your office, or a call telling you of the services offered and asking for a meeting to show you brochures and offer you samples? WASHINGTON – The White House is promising that new figures being released Friday will be a more accurate showing of progress in President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan. It aggressively defended an earlier, faulty count that overstated by thousands the jobs created or saved so far. Ed DeSeve, serving as Obama's stimulus overseer, said the administration has been working for weeks to correct mistakes in early counts that identified more than 30,000 jobs paid for with stimulus money. He said a new stimulus report Friday should correct many mistakes an Associated Press review found that showed the earlier report overstated thousands of stimulus jobs. The AP reviewed a sample of federal contracts, not all 9,000 reported to date, so far. Even in its limited review, the AP found job counts that were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of paid positions; jobs credited to the stimulus program that were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs that were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced. For example: • Some recipients of stimulus money used the cash to give existing employees pay raises, but each reported saving dozens of jobs with the money, including one Georgia day care that claimed 129 jobs saved. • A Texas contractor whose business kept 22 employees to handle stimulus contracts saw its job count inflated to 88 because the same workers were counted four times. • The water department in Palm Beach County, Fla., hired 57 meter readers, customer service representatives and other positions to handle two water projects. But their total job count was incorrectly doubled to 114. Those errors were included in an early progress report on the stimulus released two weeks ago that featured numerous mistakes, including a Colorado business' claim that its stimulus contract created more than 4,200 jobs. In fact, the actual count was less than 1,000. moreResolved Question: Is this how the stimulus works through shady counting?
By BRETT J. BLACKLEDGE and MATT APUZZO – 4 hours ago WASHINGTON — An early progress report on President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan overstates by thousands the number of jobs created or saved through the stimulus program, a mistake that White House officials promise will be corrected in future reports. The government's first accounting of jobs tied to the $787 billion stimulus program claimed more than 30,000 positions paid for with recovery money. But that figure is overstated by least 5,000 jobs, or one in six, according to an Associated Press review of a sample of stimulus contracts. The AP review found some counts were more than 10 times as high as the actual number of jobs; some jobs credited to the stimulus program were counted two and sometimes more than four times; and other jobs were credited to stimulus spending when none was produced. For example: _ A company working with the Federal Communications Commission reported that stimulus money paid for 4,231 jobs, when about 1,000 were produced. _ A Georgia community college reported creating 280 jobs with recovery money, but none was created from stimulus spending. _ A Florida child care center said its stimulus money saved 129 jobs but used the money on raises for existing employees. There's no evidence the White House sought to inflate job numbers in the report. But administration officials seized on the 30,000 figure as evidence that the stimulus program was on its way toward fulfilling the president's promise of creating or saving 3.5 million jobs by the end of next year. The reporting problem could be magnified Friday when a much larger round of reports is expected to show hundreds of thousands of jobs repairing public housing, building schools, repaving highways and keeping teachers on local payrolls. But the White House promises many problems will be corrected in Friday's report. "I think you'll see a pretty good degree of accuracy," said Ed DeSeve, an Obama adviser helping to oversee the stimulus program. DeSeve said the administration is aware of problems with the early data. Agencies have been working with businesses that received the money to correct mistakes. Other errors discovered by the public also will be corrected, he said. "If there's an error that was made, let's get it fixed," DeSeve said. The White House released a statement early Thursday responding to the AP review, arguing what the administration said are the "real facts" about how jobs were counted in the stimulus data distributed two weeks ago. It said for the first time Thursday that release had been a test run of a small subset of data that had been subjected only to three days of reviews, that it had already corrected "virtually all" the mistakes identified by the AP and that the discovery of mistakes "does not provide a statistically significant indication of the quality of the full reporting that will come on Friday." The data partially reviewed by the AP for errors included all the data presently available, representing all known federal contracts awarded to businesses under the stimulus program. The figures being released Friday include different categories of stimulus spending by state governments, housing authorities, nonprofit groups and other organizations. As of early Thursday, on its recovery.org Web site, the government was still citing 30,383 as the actual number of jobs linked so far to stimulus spending, despite the mistakes the White House has now acknowledged and said were being corrected. It's not clear just how far off the 30,000 claim was. The AP's review was not an exhaustive accounting of all 9,000 contracts, but homed in on the most obvious cases where there were indications of duplications or misinterpretations. While the thousands of overstated jobs represent a tiny sliver of the overall economy, they represent a significant percentage of the initial employment count credited to the stimulus program. Tom Gavin, a spokesman for the White House budget office, attributed the errors to officials as well as recipients having to conduct such reporting for the first time. In fact, the AP review shows some businesses undercounted the number of jobs funded under the stimulus program by not reporting jobs saved. Here are some of the findings: _ Colorado-based Teletech Government Solutions on a $28.3 million contract with the Federal Communications Commission for creation of a call center, reported creating 4,231 jobs, although 3,000 of those workers were paid for five weeks or less. "We all felt it was an appropriate way to represent the data at the time" and the reporting error has been corrected, said company president Mariano Tan. _ The Toledo, Ohio-based Koring Group received two FCC contracts, again for call centers. It reported hiring 26 people for each contract, or a total of 52 jobs, but cited the same workers for both contracts. The jobs only lasted about two months. moreVoting Question: I need to write a business plan for a school project. Anyone know where I can find one to look at as a sample?

While these aspects are not mechanisms within the plan, they are crucial reference points. 1.Define your market - sector(s) and segment(s) definitions 2.Quantify your market (overview only) - size, segmentation, relevant statistics, values, numbers (locations, people/users, etc) - make this relevant to you business 3.Explain your market(s) - sector trends, eg., growth, legislation, seasonality, PEST factors where relevant, refer to Ansoff matrix, show the strategic business drivers within sector and segments, purchasing mechanisms, processes, restrictions - what are the factors that determine customers' priorities and needs - this is a logical place to refer to ethics and CSR (corporate social responsibility 4.Explain your existing business - your current business according to sector, products/services, quantities, values, distributor, etc. 5.Analyse your existing customer spread by customer type, values and products/services including major accounts (the 'Pareto Principle' or the '80:20 rule' often applies here, eg., 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers) 6.Explain your products and services - refer to Boston matrix and especially your strategic propositions (what these propositions will do for your customers) including your USP's and UPB's (see sales training section and acronyms) 7.Explain you routes to market, gatekeepers, influencers and strategic partners - the other organizations/individuals you will work with to develop your market, including 'what's in it for them', commissions, endorsements, accreditations, approvals, licenses, etc. 8.Case studies and track record - the credibility, evidence and proof that your propositions and strategic partnerships work 9.Competitor analysis, eg., SWOT analysis of your own business compared to SWOT analysis of each competitor 10.Sales/marketing/business plan (1 year min) showing sales and margins by product/service stream, mix, values, segment, 'distributor', etc, whatever is relevant, phased monthly, in as much detail as you need. This should be on a spreadsheet, with as many different sheets as necessary to quantify relevant inputs and outputs. 11.List your strategic actions (marketing campaigns, sales activities, advertising, etc) that will deliver the above, with costs and returns. This should be supported with a spreadsheet, showing cost and return on investment for each activity. Tip: If the business plan concerns an existing activity, use the previous year's sales/business analysis as the basis for the next year's sales/business plan. Adapt as necessary according to your new strategic plans. moreResolved Question: Can someone here please critique my resume... be honest, not mean?
