"Futurama" originally ran from 1999 to 2003 before being cancelled. Then, in 2007, production started again to produce four films to be split into 16 episodes when broadcast and released as 'feature length epics' on DVD. These films were 'Bender's Big Score', 'The Beast With a Billion Backs', 'Bender's Game', and finally 'Into the Wild Green Yonder'. The final scene of the final film left the series open ended with all of the main characters flying into a wormhole. The writers intended this final film to tie everything up in a neat package as it was then believed that it was the final Futurama production ever. But then, in 2009, as if the gods had reigned blessings upon the earth...an announcement was made by Comedy Central... Futurama...is....coming....BACK. FROM MID-2010, 26 BRAND NEW EPISODES WILL BE BROADCAST! WOOOO-HOOO!!! Who's excited!?! Are you? I AM! DEFINITELY! This will mark the series' return to episodic format. I am wondering whether the writers will actually explain what happened to the crew after traveling into the wormhole at the end of the final film. I absolutely adore the original series and the four films (though it seems very obvious when you watch them that they were made to be cut up into four episodes as some of the plot points are sort of presented in 'blocks'). I'm not talking about Japanese Animation, I'm talking about Animation in general. Like Cartoons, Animated movies, etc. What I hate about this is if your a Teen or an Adult and you like Cartoons, etc. People look at you and think you need help and crap. I mean, Come on. They have cartoons like Futurama, The Simpsons, etc. And most of them are for adults. And people who despise Cartoons think only little kids watch them, *babies*. I really don't get this picture at all, If you are 18 or still a Teen, If people find out you like Spongebob, Fairly odd Parents, etc. They will think you need help and crap. Since your a Teen or what ever doesn't mean your mentally unstable for watching Cartoons and crap. And yeah I watch Cartoons and Anime and people think I'm "weird" or not "normal" because I don't watch reality shows like MTV, etc. I watch some reality shows like WWE, Drake and Josh, etc. But I prefer to watch the Cartoons I grew up with since I was a kid. Some of those Cartoons I watched for along time even inspired me for wanting to be a Animator, etc. Futurama is awesome IMO, Bender = FTW. So why do people despise Cartoons so much? I had an ex friend and I asked her if she liked the show, Avatar The Last Air bender, And she said, No she don't watch that "little kid" stuff saying shes to old to watch Cartoons. She said the little kid she baby sits watches it. People suspect 5 year olds and under to watch Cartoons. And they think your crazy, etc for watching them if your a Teen and crap. Vladimir Koslov's gimmick? i think its too typical, im sick and tired of the evil russian guy type of character, i saw this episode of Futurama and basically the face was bender and the heel was this foreign guy and he says "im a foreigner, look at my crazy passport", it made me think how stupid and predictable WWE characters were becoming, why cant they get over the cold war attitude and start bringing things we dont expect, many WWE fans today dont even know why Russians are portrayed that way..
