In case this sounds familiar, this depiction of God is a bit like the depiction of bender as God in the "futurama" episode. Anyway: God tries to create a universe. He tries multiple times, and keeps screwing it up. Finally, he makes one that seems to work pretty well, so He get power hungry and make sure everyone knows he exists and worships Him through random smiting. However, He keeps messing everything up: He accidentally floods the whole world, he almost causes a guy to kill his kid (caught THAT one at the last second!), He was smoking a cigarette and accidentally dropped the ashes on Sodom (Why did I do that? uhhh, they were being gay! Yeah, that was it!) So He decides to stop screwing with the world. A couple of days ago, they started Futurama back up, a new season that starts where one of the movie's leave off, where the crew are about to go through the hole in the ship. Is it just me, or does it seem that the two new episodes that Comedy Central showed the other day not seem like it's up to snuff anymore? I mean, I don't know what it is about it, maybe they're trying too hard. It still has it's moments (very few that they are). Maybe I should wait, see how the next episode on Thursday is. Maybe its that it seems more mature. Or that Fry and Leela finally expressed their feelings for each other (despite being willing to sleep with other people (Fry in an orgy with Amy, which was later dismissed, and Leela with Zapp, (Though that was apparently from delusion... and then it wasn't and she went through with it.)) Bender doesn't quite seem like himself, much, either. As happy that I am that there are new Futurama episodes... So, what do you all think? more

I live in a pretty rural little town; pretty much everyone lives on a ranch or in a trailer. To be perfectly honest, it's almost completely populated by rednecks. I really don't like living here, I can't identify with anyone save for a few of my school friends (they wish they lived somewhere else too). I mean, I'm more of a creative-inclined person, I need city life! If I lived in a more artist-friendly place, I think I'd be a lot happier and maybe my work (both drawn and written) would improve too. Sadly, many of my town's residents are completely content, maybe even happy, with living here and can never relate to my dillema. Some even think I'm crazy for not loving this place, or insane for wanting to go to a far-away college in a big city. Sorry if that was too much of a rant, but I feel pretty strongly about this. So... when you think robot, you think R2DR, Transformers, the likes. But what are robot stereotypes? A comic relief is one. Star Wars is largely at large here.
