I'm writing a story that takes place on earth and on another dimension, similar to earth. Most inhabitants of the dimension are nomadic or belong to a nation/kingdom of some sort. The main kingdom is a very powerful clan (that I need help naming as well) that is very skilled in martial arts, healing, and other asian type culture. They're a dark race that live in the underground shadows. This where the main male character, Prince Kai, lives. His evil mother, Empress Lysistra, is the ruler of the clan. Does anybody get any name ideas from this? I'm not sure what to name their clan/kingdom. Kai has been raised by his mother's beleifs and is only a tool in gaining what she wants: a gift. This gift is obtained by the leading female, Tess. Tess is kidnapped from earth by their "clan's" assassins and is tricked into thinking she is really apart of their clan, when she was really from another kingdom of that planet (which I also don't know what to name...). Also, here's a few picture I drew of some of the characters to give you an idea of what most of the characters will look like: Leeta & Gizmo: http://i522.photobucket.com/albums/w341/alystar61/Mobile%20Uploads/1113091417.jpg Leeta: http://i522.photobucket.com/albums/w341/alystar61/Mobile%20Uploads/1114091256.jpg Asella: http://i522.photobucket.com/albums/w341/alystar61/Mobile%20Uploads/1114091256a.jpg Leeta and Asella are sisters. Leeta is a year older than Asella, but acts immature compared to her younger sister. She is light and carefree, and excells in flexibilty and acrobatics in their clan. Asella is being trained to be an assassin and is a little darker and serious. She envys her sister for her talents and trys to excell at being an assassin to please the Empress Lysistra (the ruler of their clan/kingdom) "Gizmo Bender" is a descendant of a long line of “Benders” in the clan. He takes great pride in being a mechanical genius/blacksmith. He has a great knowledge of engineering and can build almost anything. He has a crush on Leeta and is one of her main love interests throughout the story, although Leeta enjoys flirting with the twins Kyle and Tyler. There's just a small part of the story (just a rough draft) to give you some insight. Here are a few supporting character names in the story: Asella Leeta Kastilla Karma Kari Jake Gizmo Flex Tyler and Kyle (Twins) There's a lot more to the story, and a lot more charcaters, but I can't fit it all here. For the twins I wanted they're nicknames to be Ty and Ky, but Ky sounds too close to the main character Kai. So I think I'm going to change his name to something else, but I can't find anything that fits his character. Any ideas? Thanks! moreResolved Question: I need someone to pretty please check my answer for "Working with conduit"?

Hi my family and are moving to Missouri at the end of October. This is not up for debate, we have to move because of a sever medical allergy that my wife has. She is allergic to fire ants which are everywhere here in Texas. She got bit at the first of September and I watched her almost die in my arms. Anyway Missouri does not have these fire ants. This is the only thing she is allergic to. Anyway I need to find me a job, otherwise I will be forced to come back to Texas and leave the family in Missouri. I do not want to do this. Anyway here is my resume, if you know of any manufacturing, machine shop in the area that is looking for someone please let me know. I am also open to ideas. Here is my work history. EFCO Machine and Welding Shop Manual machine shop lead man. Job description As lead man of over the manual machine shop I work one on one with engineers from companies that we provide services to. I have direct contact with other customers that have parts in need of repair. In every case I discuss the best way to repair or to build what the customer needs. I design fixtures for the CNC production department. This is done by keeping two important things in mind, quality and cycle time. I conceive an idea; draw up prints for the parts that will be needed to make the fixture. I draw the prints using AutoCAD. I delegate work to employee’s if the employee’s are busy I will machine the parts myself. I perform the task needed using Drill presses, manual lathes, break presses, welding, CNC equipment, hydraulic press, AutoCAD, manual mill, and other hand tools. 1997-2001 Henley Healthcare ( no longer in business) Job title Fabrication department supervisor Supervised 18 employees. From a forecast I planned work for employees. Also served as quality control for the department. When I took the department over the quality of the parts and the rejects went down by 25%. I improved proscess to increase effeciency and quality. Machinery in department include manual mills, manual lathe, break presses, tubing bender, punch press, and welding. Set up maintenance schedules for all machinery in the plant to comply with ISO 9000 certification and made sure the schedules were carried out. Performed maintenance through the plant to include mechanical repair, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, saws, painting, drywall and other. I maintained employee records for vacation, sick time and submitted weekly employee hours. I did all the purchasing of supplies for the department. I interviewed new employees and was also responsible for termination of employee’s if needed. 1996-1997 Manor Care Health Services Job title Maintance Director Performed maintenance for the nursing home facility to include, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and mechanical repair. Inspected the facility to make sure state standards were being met. Co-person on safety committee. In charge of purchasing supplies and new equipment for facility. When state inspection was done the maintenance through the facility had zero faults. 1994-1995Texas Hydraulics Job title CNC machinist Ran production on CNC lathe’s using morsiki lathe’s SL25, 35, 40 and 60 Used calipers, tweezer gauges, bore gauges, micrometers to insure the parts were within tolerances. 1989-1994Scott & White Hospital Job title Shift lead man Performed maintenance as needed through out the hospital. Equipment to include, dietary equipment, laundry equipment, pneumatic tube system, fire alarm system and other equipment though the hospital. Troubleshoot electrical problems, plumbing, on the fire and rescue team. Attended to any and all maintenance problems in the hospital. moreResolved Question: How do I strike up conversation with a humble, intelligent, "nerdy" guy?
There's a kid who I am simply intrigued by. Without unnecessary detail, he's extremely humble, very intelligent, and a bit "nerdy," so to speak. I've never seen the guy with a girl, always the same (also "nerdy") guys. When they talk amongst each other, I'm more often than not the only one present to understand the joke. I'm bright, and cultured, and think their historical and sociological cracks are hilarious. But I'm a bit obscure, and unconventional. I'm used to going for the kind of guy one would refer to as a "tool," the whole Bender-from-the-Breakfast-Club thing. But I've gone through lots of personal growth since I've been disinterested in relationships the past year or two. I'm finally at a place where I am comfortable, and know what I really want. But I have absolutely no idea how to establish this with this kind of guy. I can do the bad-boy thing, but what about someone who's actually genuine? Generally speaking how much would the cheapest machine cost that could bend something like a 3" or 4" pipe/tube. I have seen units as low as $250 that can bend up 2.5" pipe manually. I have also seen units that can bend 12" pipe and they can cost like 10 grand. I need to bend 3" - 4" steel and/or aluminum tubes. They will be pretty much as thin walled as i can find them. I will be using these tube for air intakes for cars, i just need an idea of what it might. Hey everyone. For a while now, I've always wanted to create my own flash video, but I've found it very hard to find info on how. So I forgot about it for a while, then just remembered when I received several Adobe products for christmas. So now, after playing around with some of the software I got, I decided that it's time that I get back to trying out what I've always wanted to do. so for starters, let me list what adobe products I have in my possession Adobe Distiller 9 Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Adobe After Effects CS4 Adobe Bridge CS4 Adobe Contribute CS4 Adobe Device Central CS4 Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 Adobe Drive CS4 Adobe Encore CS4 Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS4 Adobe Extention Manager CS4 Adobe Fireworks CS4 Adobe Flash CS4 Professional Adobe Illustrator CS4 Adobe InDesign CS4 Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 Adobe Media Encoder CS4 Adobe OnLocation CS4 Adobe Photoshop CS4 Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit Adobe Premier Pro CS4 Adobe Reader 9 Adobe Soundbooth CS4 So with that said, I'm pretty confident that those tools will be more than enough to make my flash vid (if not, tell me what else I need). I mean, unless you actually want to type out an entire tutorial, which I highly doubt. I was wondering if there was any cheaper manual/hydraulic type benders out there that would give me decent bends with out the inside of the bend flattening out or wrinkling? I am hoping not to spend over a couple hundred bucks on a bender so obviously theres no way i could afford a mendrel bender or anything, but I would like to get info from anyone else that has or does bend pipes and knows of a way to make decent quality bends in a fairly cheap way. I do want to be able to bend up to a 3" pipe with different thicknesses using stainless and aluminum. I am guessing the thinner intake pipes I want to bend will have the most distortion when bending. I know even a mendrel has a very slight distortion, but in my case I just want to get the least amount of distortion in the bends at a reasonable price.
