Resolved Question: Unemployment laws? please help!?

My Hus band has started working for this guy about 3 months ago. It has been a nightmare.Can my Husband collect unemployment for a Boss that makes you beg for your pay each week? he didn't pay us for 6 weeks over the holidays causing us severe hardship. He also wont pay-overtime that is not exempt.He calls my Husband anytime of day or night to run out on a service call.If my Husband says no they turn into just jerks.I mean 13hr day, come home and he wants him to run out again? no overtime? He told my Husband that the Business phone he gave him,,is a benefit and he can use it for personal stuff. Well we found out he has a tracker on it. He told my Husband to put his email on it. Now we found out he has been accessing messages,, etc.. he is verbally abusive and my Husband had a minor fender bender, company truck. He took pay out of his truck for the 1000 deductible. Before he even was billed himself.My Husband was on his way to work.What can he do? the job market is bad, but this is crazy> My Husband is a outstanding worker, he just wants to work and be paid for his efforts.He also feels like he can not make any complaints outside the work, because its 3 employees.His Boss goes crazy if anyone stands up for their rights.We are struggling and living check to check and his work has hardly any openings out there. (Heating and air Tech)His Boss will not renew the plates on his work truck. The driver gets a 260 ticket not the owner. Mu Husband knows his Boss would make us pay for it.The Boss is told weekly to get the plates done, but just ignores it and forces the worker to drive it. more

Resolved Question: I'm looking for a certain manga and i can't remember the name of it.?

It's a romance, gender bender and its about this girl who works at a fast food place and other girls just go there to ask her to smile because they think she looks like someone from a popular band. I can remember the bands name but i think it was GOLD, or something like that. Anyways, she goes home one night and she stumbles upon a fight where one guy is out number, or something like that and she tries to help him but he wasn't in trouble, he was shooting a scene with his band. The guy is nice to her and she leaves but the bands manager takes an interest in her and gets the girl to disguise herself as a boy and joins the band. The lead guy, who isn't nice to anybody unless they are girls, and the girl are alone in a dance room and the guy asks if she is going to go to the bathes or something and she freaks out and the guy pesters her,not knowing he is actually a she, but she tells him that she has an ugly scar she doesn't like to show. So even tho the guy is mean to her he tries to protect her during her first band performance when the rest of the group takes their shirts off and she doesn't. This is from memory so i don't know if that is all correct but it's along the lines of it. more

Resolved Question: I need to lose 3 inches around my waist! (and other weight loss questions)?

I've always wanted to be a model, and just recently found out the ideal measurements for a model are 34-24-34 (Bust, waist and hips.) My measurements are 37-27-38, so, yeah. I weight 135 and want to lose 15 pounds, just so I can feel a little better about myself when I look in the mirror. :) I have Absolutely no idea how to go about losing inches. Or weight for that matter. I don't like running very much, but I will if it's the only way... (Please let there be another way!) I'm a vegetarian so it's hard to get a lot of protein, so if I need protein to lose weight, what do i eat? Equipment available to me: a large exercises ball, one of those stretchy rubber band things with handles (sorry ha ha), a measuring tape, a scale, and my Bender Ball is in the mail. How quickly will I see results? How many calories should I eat? (15, 5'4" and female) What exercises target your lower stomach??? Voting Question: What style of clothing is in Michael Jackson's "Beat it"?

In the music video for Beat it the background dancers and cast of his mini movie where this style of clothing that for some reason has always attracted me. 80's(ish) greaser(ish) lost boys (ish) like Brandon Walsh from the goonies, John Bender from the breakfast club. Please don't recommend an anime longer than about 60 episodes, or one that I've watched or hate. Also, I don't watch hentai or yaoi, so, yeah. My favorite genre are action/fantasy, sci fi, to a small extent romance (it needs action), comedy, historical or historical fiction, and gender-bender (I think they're funny.) Once again, no smut, please. Nudity is okay sometimes, but not an exhorbitant amount of it. Oh, if you're wondering why I want it in Japanese, it's because I thought it would be the best way to study for my final in Japanese class. more

I'm going to be as honest as i can. If you don't like what i have to say. Then please, don't answer i've put up with enough shite in my life. Okay, so me and my family, which consists, of me my mum and my brother all live in a big house. Were not exactly rich; but were well off. My Mum likes to pretend that were posh. She wants to be live that everything is perfect. She lives everything by the handbook. Everything is rules. She refuses to acknowledge that my dad is a drunk who cheats on her every other week and is away most times on Business trips. Ah my dad. I hate him. I know most teenage girls my age say that but i really do. You see, hes homophobic, really bad. And my twin brother... well hes gay. I accepted him straight away, because he's my twin.. hes like my best friend. I've knew that he's been gay ever since we were nine years old. He came out when we were 13. My Dad didn't know. He found out anyway. He caught him kissing his bestfriend. That was it then. My dad just couldn't face that his son was different. He went out on benders every weekend. He soon became an alcoholic. He beats my brother up at every chance he gets. He bruises him, and does god knows what. But he never leaves a scar. I've tried to get in the way. But my brother always pushes me away. Or locks me out of the room. My lifes just a mess. On top off all that, ive tried to get on with my life, and i found a boyfriend but well because hes in a small indie rock band my fmaily hates him. And i cant bring him anywhere near the house because i'm scared of what my dad will do. I'm 16 btw. And no i'm not guna go to the police about my dad. Because well.. hes my dad. I just need help! ive been with my partner for a year and 4 months now, he used to be a rebel before i met him ie went out everynight, stayed over different people houses, slept with a few different ppl, did all sorts in the bedroom, drank until he cdnt stand up. his last relationship was an open relationship and this was when he met me, he finished with his ex after then and we met up after a while and started dating. but now he doesnt seem interested in sex at all, im partically begging him to show me some affection. even if its a cuddle on the sete at night. he stil goes out but when i go with him its like a downer on his style! ive made good friends with a few of his so i like to go out because of this and because i want to spend some time with him, as we hardly ever have any quality time togather and it will be less so when the baby comes ( im 9 months preg). hes stil making plans in going out for weekends at times and doing gigs in manchester and bradford (we live in wales) when the baby is only a month old! expectin me to stay at home and take care of him. with being 9 months pregnant now so im feeling the pressure and im suffering really bad with it... but im still excited aswell but he doesnt seem a slightly bit interested in anything that im doing for our baby, ive even gone as far as asking him if he stil wanted this (as in our relationship and baby) a few weeks ago. ive tried to tell him i need help but he wont even go as far as putting the rubbish out. i feel so bad at the moment panicing about all sorts which isnt good for me or the baby ( as told by my midwife). ive asked him for a few hours a week for us to to spend it togather just us, but for perfect example last week we planned it after he did band preactise but he turned up 3 hours later because he went for a meal with his mates and didnt tell me. when the rent needs to be paid, im scared of asking him for it because he always seems to bite my head off. its due on the 31st, thats when he gets paid. but he wont give it to me until he knows all his bills are paid. i lent his £140 last month for fines he had and he promised he wd pay it back to me on the 31st but when it came down to it he went out on a bender for a weekend and then said he didnt have enough to give it to me. we got a bill fo £140 which i have to pay bcause he has no money left! does he want this relationship or the baby? i really am confused and unhappy with the way things are at the moment. its like getting blood out of a stone when i try and talk to him but i just end up in tears with nothing changed. sorry to go on but i feel so so depressed! more
